Mama's Vegetarian is obviously vegetarian, which is handy for those vegetarians who have trouble finding things to eat at most restaurants. It's all Middle Eastern food, which is usually easy to find vegetarian options in, but this is a really great selection. The falafel is flavorful and perfectly textured, great with their lettuce and tomatoes or a grape leaf roll.... More

I've been visiting Philadelphia for decades and it is like kryptonite to kosher restaurants. Most places are either not worth going to or if they are for some reason they close down after a few years. This place has been going strong for a while no. The food is fresh, good and cheap. Not a huge variety on the menu... More

The best felafel in Philadelphia. Made while you wait so are hot and crisp on the outside and correctly soft on the inside. All of the expected garnishes were available in addition to hummus and techina. Also had great latkes and eggplant. The portions and price were less than typical for a Center City eatery. Even if you are not... More

I thought I had found some of the best falafal elsewhere in Philadelphia, and boy was I wrong. If you're vegetarian, or simply love falafal, this place is heaven. I completely understand why there was a line out the door when I went here, it's worth the wait! I got one of the lunch platters that had eggplant and falafal... More

Get there before there, 11:30 a.m and there will be no wait... The food is very good. They give you free food to much on if you have to wait. I highly recommend them.

I come here every couple weeks for lunch and the food never disappoints. It's one of my favorite lunch places around and you can't beat the quality and price. Definitely my favorite falafel in Philly. And the service is quick and friendly. Love!!

I got food for my train ride from Philly to DC. The food traveled well, which was good. the place is small and is cash only, though there is an ATM in side. Everything there is vegetarian or vegan, and is marked if vegan. They have various sandwich or platters to get and I got the falafel platter with the... More

If you are on the search, for the perfect falafel, then this is the place for you! Just a little ' hole in the wall' that does a big lunch business, so I recommend getting there before 11:45.
