We had just finished dinner when we heard about this place and had to stop in. It was a rainy Saturday night and the 4 of us just had to try the milkshakes everyone raved about. The place was packed with a good upbeat crowd. You order at the counter, take a number to your table & a staff person... More

If you are headed to the Fillmore, this is the place to start your evening. The beer selection is varied and they are served in extra large steins. The German food is authentic and fills you up in the best way. It is a 2 minute walk to the concert from Frankford Hall

Awesome biergarten! Large beers that you would expect to find at the Hofbrauhaus in Germany. The bar set up is great with an indoor/outdoor seating area. You would never know you are sitting in the middle of a large city. Lots of fun games to keep you occupied or to compete with friends, like jenga, ping pong and foosball. I... More

The beer was very good and the prices were reasonable. On the week night we were there is was primarily a place for college age person to hang out. The Brats were fine, not great but the potato salad was some of the best I have eaten.

My first time!!! We ordered everything except a pretzel!!! Sausage was good. The sauerkraut had a sweet side to it. Not to vinegary. Great atmosphere! Excellent beer! Can't wait to go back!

Really enjoyable afternoon. We arrived early, scored a table and stayed for hours. I was DD but everyone enjoyed their beers. The food was tasty....burgers, mushroom strudel, soft pretzels. Jenga kept us entertained. When we left at 5:30, there was a line out the door to get in. They must be doing something right.

On the recommendation of a local friend, we made dinner at Frankford Hall the last meal of our trip. Located in the very trendy and up-and-coming Fishtown section of Philly, the restaurant is surrounded by bars and restaurants that are all hopping. Walking into the restaurant, nee food hall, there is a relatively small covered area the includes the bar,... More

If you want to have a good time, visit Frankford Hall. It is a large space, a few bars and large wooden tables in the courtyard. You have the option of half liters or full liters. During my visit there was a bachelorette party who was on a beer crawl and they were a lively bunch and that added to... More

Went here in Oct 2015 and Dec 2015 and it was absolutely outstanding in all respects. After living in Munich, it's a true pleasure to find something so authentic with an American/Philly twist to the traditional bier garten. Excellent food with authentic weiner schnitzel, sausages, pretzels, coupled with Paulaner weizen beer from the tap. Plenty of micro, American, and German... More

This is a great bar to hang out with friends out. Lots of places inside and outside to sit with big tables to accommodate large groups. Great beer, great food and great atmosphere!
