You probably hear this or read this a lot but I can honestly say this burger and food was so good, that the side of grilled veggies were gone by the time I was done. 4 types of BBQ bottles on the table from sweet to hot and some bottle that only had XXX on the label. Well, I tried... More

We drove our niece back to Philadelphia (from the DC area), where she'll begin her senior year at Penn in a few weeks. After arriving in Philadelphia, I asked her where we could grab dinner before heading back home. "Got just the place," she says, knowing we both love BBQ. My spouse had the fried catfish; niece had the Memphis... More

Waitress was rushed and inattentive. The pulled pork was lukewarm and tasteless. Ribs were so-so. Blueberry "cobbler" was a skimpy sliver of grocery store pie, with a thin layer of goopy berries in a mushy crust, looking like the kitchen had just throw it onto the plate. The rind of the limes in our drinks was crusty and grey, the... More

We arrived just before they opened, but were allowed to wait inside in the AC. The menu has a good selection. Lots of side dishes to choose from. My son had a hamburger, which came with no side dish. Everything else came with a side, so I'm not sure the rationale. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on... More

I had heard good reviews of Baby Blues BBQ and thought I would use the University City Dining Days (7/14 - 7/24) event as a way to try them out. I am so glad I did - it is very close to 34th Street Station, it is very easy to find, it has good service and the food is very... More

I was on a college visit with my wife and prospective student. We decided to have dinner on Samson St and stopped into Baby Blues BBQ. Most of us ordered brisket. We have never had anything so tough and so fatty. The food came out cold. Nothing we ordered was edible. The staff was very nice and didn't charge us... More

While visiting a baby at CHOP, we took her mom out to dinner at Baby Blues BBQ. We are from South Carolina, and didn't expect much from a 'Yankee' BBQ place. We were so pleasantly surprised, and felt like we were back home! If you are in the area, you are in for a treat. Award winning BBQ in the... More

We decided to go to baby blue barbecue from the reviews on trip advisor. Upon walking in the restaurant and had a nice atmosphere. A bar/pub type place. We went during happy hour on a Thursday and decided to get the wings for six dollars. The wings had a dry rub and you can add your own barbecue sauce or... More

I enjoy good BBQ and, based on the great reviews of Baby Blues, First of all the service was extremely slow. I seated myself at a table by the bar. The waitress brought me over a menu right away and said she would be right back to get my drink order. Right back must have meant 10 minutes as she... More
