I never would have thought the words "excellent" and "british food" would be in the same sentence. However, that is the case at the Dandelion. First of all, the restaurant was packed but we had excellent service and felt well taken care of by our server April. The plates and silverware were changed after each course we had. The food... Went with the family for Saturday brunch. Good selection of choices. Shepard's pie, fish and chips, roast beef sandwich and hamburgers to name a few. Great selection if draft beer and drinks, including Pimms snd lemonade. We all had great food and service in a traditional pub setting and a good time.

Incredible surprise. My wife searched for a place to eat and I just followed along. We got there on a Thursday night about 6:30 and it was fairly crowded but we got seated in about 20-30 minutes. We were able to get a couple pints from the bar while we waited. They have a great selection of beer including a... More

We were recommended here from another restaurant manager. We stopped in for a glass of wine to check it out & hung out in the Dog Bar upstairs. Adrian, the bartender, was friendly and personable even though he was very busy with guests having High Tea. The olive tray was unique; a warm, marinated variety that was really good! Excellent... My husband and I had dinner at The Dandelion after stopping there the night before for a drink and to catch The Kentucky Derby. The food looked good and we liked the place. Dinner did not disappoint. We started with a little gem salad with egg and anchovies. We were planning to split the salad and our server had it... More

This has the man-cave Pub downstairs and the Eclectic, Artzy Tea rooms upstairs. All the interior was imported from England and has a fun twist of humor. Not stuffy and very fun. The pub serves food as well and I heavily suggest their cheese plate. High Tea is served upstairs from 3 to 5 and even my husband enjoyed it... More

Our plans for enjoying a special weekend in the Rittenhouse section of Philly included dinner on Saturday night at The Dandelion, South 18th St. After reviewing many restaurants in the area, via Yelp, The Dandelion appeared to offer the type of environment that appeals to us and the high star ratings seemed to support this. My expectations were, however, quickly... More

Excellent service and an even better menu. We first enjoyed a British Cheese Board which was filled with wonderful cheese and savoury biscuits, quince paste, grape chutney, honey. It was a meal in itself. We will want to come back.

Good food, good atmosphere. No negatives. A lot of different beers to choose from domestic with many foreign beers.

This restaurant is a very nice place to share a meal with friends for brunch. The food is delicious. There were four of us and each enjoyed their entree: poached egg with bubble and squeak, the hamburger, the roast beef sandwich and the grilled chicken sandwich. The restaurant features British Pub food. The bubble and squeak was delicious. It is... More
