Great view, pricey drinks for Philly. Despite the place being nearly empty at 11:00 pm, they wouldn't let us sit near the window. So when you sit at the bar, you really can't appreciate the view.

You'll love the views, especially on a clear night. The food is decent but nothing special and that goes for the service, too.

This is the best view from a restaurant in philly, I take all my visiting friends here and it's always a highlight. Food is good and a great bar and lounge also.

The views from our table were beyond words - the panoramic view at sunset was breathtaking. The food was unbelievably good, although a bit expensive. The wait staff are very professional and they do not interfere with your conversation and/or dining experience but are there if you need them. The portions are normal and the presentation appetizing. Eating at this... More

My colleague and i host an event dinner annually. This year the conference was in Philadelphia. We chose R2L. Maritza, their event coordinator was easy to deal with and knew her business. She assisted us with the menu and all of her suggestions were spot on. We had almost 40 for cocktails, appetizers, dinner and dessert. Cooking for a crowd... More

While the food at R2L is truly delicious, the prices are a bit over-the-top. In addition, we were told there was an extensive gluten-free menu, but when we arrived they said that they did not have it. Thankfully, the manager came by and gave us some suggestions for gluten-free options. The place is very romantic and has an amazing view... More

I took my niece to dinner at R2L to celebrate an accomplishment. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared Lobster Mac n Cheese, which I must say is the BEST I ever had. I had the Short Rib Entrée and she had the Lobster. It was a cloudy day which obstructed the view, but the ambience was still pleasant. Our... More

Great friends treated me to a surprise birthday getaway dinner. It was a special evening and celebrated by going to R2L. We arrived at dusk and were greeted promptly. Our table was perfect- seated looking out over 30th St Station and west view as sun was setting! We had signature drinks and shared appetizers. We chose salad offerings and sampled... More

We were reminded about the $125/person minimum during our appetizer selection, despite having prepaid. The wait staff was prompt and never let our glasses get empty. The food was presented well, but none that tastey. Our ribeye was full of fat and gristle and was very very difficult to cut. The views were nice and the drinks were well made,... More

We started with the Guinea Hen Nachos. They were phenomenal. My entree was the Grilled and Fried Chicken. It came with three pieces of chicken: a Grilled Chicken Breast, a Fried Thigh and Chicken Liver Pate. The pate was ok. The other two pieces were amazing. It sat on a bed of Seasonal Vegetables and warm Potato Salad. Both were... More
