The staff was very good, they were helpful, made great suggestions, etc. The food was good, just not great - I guess we expected more from Garces.

On our first night in Philly, we tried the GTC meatball, fries made in duck fat (yum!), scallops (perfectly seared), lyonnaise salad (delish) and fusilli carbonara (not authentic but ok). Overall a really good family dining experience with friendly and attentive staff.

We started with a happy hour drink and snacks (happy hour is M-F 5-7), then headed in to dinner. The menu isn't extensive, but it is thoughtful and creative, and includes small plates, soups/salads, and some very nice entrees. The vichyssoise with scallop was a real standout, as was a simple green salad with a light application of a champagne-based... More

Enjoyed a great meal at GTP tonite. Food was very good with nice, small portions. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant based on how slow and inattentive the service was. It took 45 minutes to have our drink order taken. Perhaps there weren't enough waiters tonite. Or perhaps our service just sucked.

The menu is a little hard to understand but with translation it worked out, would have loved more explanations on the actual menu. Really good food and great service! Really recommend the moules that comes with the fries fries in duck fat! Love the fact that you can go and pick out any oil you want for your bread.

Had a wonderful brunch here; nice brunch menu; tastefully decorated; attentive service by waitstaff; outdoor seating available; loved the veggie frittata and salad

I have been to several Garce's restaurants and all have been good or very good. This was may be an exception. The restaurant was about 75% full on a Friday night. We were seated quickly and drink orders taken. It took our server about 15 mins to get our drinks. Then the server disappeared again for some time. Looks like... More

Eight of us came to celebrate friends birthday. Appetizers were good. Two people ordered scallops. Worst scallops ever, over salted. Service was also slow. Won't be back

The four of us had a perfectly enjoyable dinner at a relatively reasonable price (compared to DC). While I had to wait for my appetizer forever (which they then generously comped), it was some of the best asparagus I've ever had. Our pasta was very tasty, if the portions on the smaller side for my teenage son. My son and... More
