Our go-to brunch spot. All the food is always amazing, a wide selection of beer on tap and in bottles, plus cocktails. Get there early and be prepared to wait. You can also take beer to-go at a good price!

Wow. I wish I could give this 6 stars!! The food here was unbelievably good!! We had brunch here. I had the Hawthornes omelette. Others at my table had the carrot cake pancakes, the French toast and the crabby dick. This is not your typical breakfast food. The French toast was a baked bread that looked absolutely delicious!! We were... More

Yes, it's greasy. Yes, it's tasty. Yes, it has tons of menu options, millions of beers from around the world, air conditioning so strong it felt like you needed a scarf in the middle of Philadelphia summer. We liked it and would go back (with a scarf).

Re-opened after a recent fire, Hawthornes is good as new with a vast array of craft beers, provocative daily omlettes & specials & standards, such as burgers, cooked to perfection & served with a pile of crispy fries.. But call me a cranky old lady - it really annoys me when an overly friendly server repeatedly calls us "you guys"... More

A really nice option for brunch. If you are a lover of creamed chipped beef, its a MUST here - and huge! Nice menu will make you want to order lots. The cocktails are disappointing and small for the price.

If you like a lot of choices in beer and GREAT food, you'll love Hawthorne's. Interesting menu. Reasonably priced food. Beers can get a bit costly. I had pizzette. DELICIOUS!! Can't remember what others had, but everyone LOVED it! Cute place. HIGHLY recommend.

From the bohemian, relaxed location to the great good and environment! There is always a wait but it is totally worth it. The food is well put together. I particular don't like home fries but these people know how to make them well. Brunch is incredible.

We had a great brunch....the place was crowded but no one seemed to mind because as we found out the food was worth the wait. To make things even better our waitress Susan thanked us for our patience ... and truly was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy cold day!! We will return !
