Get and Arista which is a roasted pork hoagie with broccoli rabe, sharp provolone and long hots. It's amazing and kicks the Philly Cheesesteaks butt!

I got four sandwiches and only two of them were good. They seem like they were trying too hard to be an authentic Italian sandwich place. I say average because they also took way too long to deliver too.

We were making a pilgrimage to the Italian Market, went into Paesano's 9th Street location for lunch and am still thinking about it. It's a bustling casual place with a couple of tables and counters around the room. The Spousal Unit had the Gustiao, lamb sausage, cherry mostarda, gorgonzola & roasted fennel on flatbread. You can read the description and... More

We had the classic Italian hoagie and it was outstanding. The bread is chewy and can withstand the weight of all the yummy ingredients without falling apart. I loved that they put arugula on the sandwich instead of lettuce. It was the best Italian hoagie I ever had. Now I want to go back and try other sandwiches there.

Love the Paesano sandwich and the roast pork. The bread is great, holds up well unlike the soggy soft rolls served elsewhere. A bit out of the way but, worth the trip. Limited choices but hope to explore the menu further. Counter service. Good prices.

For the value, these are hands down the best sandwiches in Philadelphia. Forget the dime-a-dozen cheesesteak, these are the best. I would easily pay double the price for what they charge at Paesano's. They are really unbelievably tasty and complex sandwiches. The line is kind of a pain; it takes a long time, they're a bit disorganized, and there's virtually... More

During my wife's Philly b-day spectacular trip we stopped at Paesano's off Girard Ave. as our very first stop when we go to Philly. It set the mood for the whole weekend. It was so good. I saw it on Unique Eats (The Cooking Channel) and I had to go. We shared the Gustaio and the Paesano. Despite it being... More

Got the chicken diablo on gluten-free bread. Best sandwich I have ever had. Looking forward to my next visit.

I pull up to the the curb at 11am in the morning, having left NYC early on a saturday morning to try Philly's very own Italian gourmet hoogies. From the outside this shop is very smalll, I noticed some plastic chairs outside and 2 tables, already it was only 11am and there were a few people in line waiting to... More

Awesome sandwiches. Best in the city...always make it a point to stop here when visiting Philly for business. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
