This restaurant was recommended by my hotel. It was on Main Street in Manayunk, a fun street with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The atmosphere was nice and it had outdoor seating. I sat inside at a booth. The service was good but not extraordinary. I had a Bordeaux by the glass. It was a relatively nice Bordeaux. The... More

How many ways can an Establishment disappoint a customer? Let me tell you: 1st, sit me, the cool Manayunk Chick and my adult children in a highly unkept booth. Then, rather than moving us to a clean station, clean the surfaces while we are seated. NICE! 2nd, Don't handle the bottle of wine like your doing me a favor for... More

Stopped in for a late lunch. Not crowded at all. We were seated immediately and served beverages. We ordered a few minutes later. Then the wait....easily 30 minutes till we were served our food. Ok if we were there to spend a leisurely afternoon, but we had to get back to work. Won't be returning soon.

If you get there early enough, you can order from the happy hour menu ONLY if you sit at the bar...that's lame. How about the high tops? Food and service is good.

Over priced and over rated. Had 'dinner' with 2 other friends there today 4/18/15 around 5:15.....our first time there. Service was horrible, mojitos in small cups 10.00 each, waited for our food for 45 min, no bread, ridiculously small food portions for 3 grown men....left there and stopped elsewhere since we were still hungry. We expressed our concerns to the... More

In spite of the dreaded Wine Bar moniker, this place is unassuming. Had a delicious and very garlicky pizza, preceded by chicken liver mousse and a rich seafood soup. The wine selection is impressive and some Malbec added to the pleasantness of the evening. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. All in all, time well spent, without paying too much.

The food here was quite good, and the menu had quite a variety of options. The service was outstanding! Cooper's is a little pricey, but given the quality and freshness of the food, I don't mind paying a little more! They have a lovely atmosphere there, and it's an ideal place for a romantic date night.

We stopped here for lunch after a trip to the Zoo for a balloon ride. We had good service and delicious lunch specials. Beet salad was fabulous. Great wine selection too!

We sat in the restaurant at a table next to the open doors to the bustling sidewalk and street watching the Manyunk Bike Race. It was a blast. The food was exceptional. We had a beet salad which included two different kinds, golden and red with these amazingly fresh and delicious ingredients. Also ordered the crab cake and shrimp. As... More

Rather than have dinner we decided to just order several appetizers. We started with chopped chicken liver pâté, which was creamy and delicicious. We ordered a fresh seafood salad that consisted of shrimp, squid, scallops, fish, with a nice ripe tomato, a bit of greens and fresh herbs; dressing was fresh and light with fresh tarragon: yummy! We tried the... More
