It was ok for dinner. Better for lunch. Food was average. Location was convenient for our family to get to.

Was in the city for a wedding, we stopped here between the ceremony and reception. The bar staff was very rude and had the "I'm doing you a favor" attitude. We were expecting 40-50 friends to join us, however we all started texting the others and went down the street to Bar-Ly and had a great time. The field house... More

We arrived for lunch as the ASHA conference was letting out and the restaurant was flooded with SLPs but the hostesses let us know that two servers were late and they stalled seating us. Once the waitress arrived, she waited on tables that had arrived after us and sort of ignored our table and another couple next to us. We... More

Not sure why we even came here since the fabulous Reading Market is right across the street, our mistake. Tried the famous pork sandwich with broccoli rabe and it was not good. Dipping au ju was pure grease. Sandwich was thin on meat. Didn't eat half of it. Not worth the calories. Also tried the bowl of chili. It was... More

Visited the Field House on Oct 7, to watch my hometown Blue Jays, have a few beers (hopefully with the "locals") and some eats. Game was in the afternoon, the bar was fairly quiet. Bar staff was friendly, lots of variety of draft beers available. Menu was limited to "pub" fare, it was ok, but expensive.

The waitstaff were friendly enough, but the service was very slow. The buffalo pizza was delicious and the sandwiches were great too. Perhaps go for a different option than the french fries... Other than that, the food was great, just be ready to wait. The prices are a tad high for what you get.

Positives: Ample televisions to view sports. Multiple sports games to be viewed. Seating available at bar for meals, if desired. Not swarming with a crowd. Ample beer choices - if that's your thing. Some games available that might appeal to kids / teens. Issues: inattentive, unmanaged, overloaded wait staff. No one working hostess desk - waited 5 minutes for someone... More

Typical sports bar in Philly. Nothing special, nothing really wrong. Front staff were not too interested in getting us a table, our waiter was much more on the ball. We were in a hurry, the beer was cold, pizza was good, service was fast. Lots of TV's to watch a game, seemed like a decent beer selection.

The whole place was packed when we arrived. It is of course college football season! Took a while to get our table but nothing ridiculous. The menu is small, doesn't really have a lot to offer. The service was pretty bad. We had to ask for eating utensils and napkins. I don't think that is something you can blame on... More

We were visiting philly for a conference. Came to this place twice. First night we got seates right away and service was great, place was busy. We got Nachos which were good and the mushroom pizza was awesome.Second night, penn state was playing so it was packed, very busy. We were told we would probably wait a long time to... More
