Ate here while in Philadelphia for a meeting. Only opportunity for a steak sandwich while in Philly. Truly stick to the traditional steak sandwich restaurants and order something else here. Ok but just not anything special or Philly related except in name. . Restaurant on the other hand is a nice bar and grill

I would just like to say that it was my 1st visit to Philadelphia & I visited Tir Na Nog. The employees were very personable, especially John. John not only allowed me to be my high maintenance self (when it comes to ordering food) but he also had a good humor about it & made sure that he had it... More

I sat on the patio which was very nice so I did not see the inside of the restaurant. I didn't actually have a meal. My colleague and I shared appetizers. There was quite a selection. We had the ravioli, seared ahi tuna and the calamari. It was all very good. They had quite a nice selection on the menu.... More

Tir Na Nog offers some decent Irish food. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is choice. Philly offers a lot of restaurants that offer good Irish fare and this place, in my opinion, ranks on the higher end of this scale. The Shepard's Pie is awesome (that said, I've never had bad Shepard's pie, haha) and the Short Rib... More

Been many times over the years. Good spot for a lively night with friends, nice outdoor seating area too. Centrally located and bar staff are cool, worth a visit. Particularly busy just after work hours.

After my husband and I returned from our trip to Ireland, I searched hither and yon to find an Irish pub in the Philadelphia area that served fish and chips like the kind I enjoyed in Ireland. Some Irish pubs don't even serve them here, and the ones we found that did didn't even come close. We went to Tir... More

We stopped in for lunch while visiting the downtown Philly area - though we had a little trouble locating the restaurant, it was worth the effort. The food was very good, the interior design interesting. We had the Crock of French Onion soup (amazing), Shepherd's Pie and Fish and Chips. Everything was very good.

Visited here just before happy hour and unlike other experiences when we checked out (still during happy hour) we were charged one drink at normal price and one drink at happy hour price. Service was not great as had to ask the hostess to find our waiter to order a second drink and she had a tough time finding him.... More

We recently went here for lunch & were tempted to stick around thru dinner. The pub food was really good and the beer was cold & fresh. No tin taste to the Harp or Smithwycks. It reminded me of a real pub in Ireland.
