This was my second time dining at Vespers. I love the ambience and decor there as well as the cocktails. My meal was all right (Chilean sea bass), but I wouldn't say it was anything out of this world. I'd recommend going for drinks and...More

Visited The Vesper for an early, pre-theatre dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It had been many years since I patronized the Vesper Club, usually for business lunches. Now I have a comfortable spot to stop by on the way home for a drink of two...More

I expected the place to be quiet, except for the music, but it was basically empty, so we ate at the bar instead. I have to say the food was very good, we started with oysters and shrimp, both were good, not outstanding but very...More

This was my first visit to.Vesper. It's called an upscale Supper Club with a Speakeasy Bar. The moment I got there I was impressed. It's a throwback to a different time. Nicely done restaurant, people dressed-up. Bar, dance floor, live performer, dining room, and a...More

We came here for the restaurant week menu ($35 per person for 3 courses). From how they portray themselves on their website - it seems as thought they are a speakeasy/1920s style place. But the actual restaurant suggests otherwise. There was not really a speakeasy...More

Such a fun and relaxed night out and the food was surprisingly good - we enjoyed dinner here over Restaurant Week and found the restaurant to be very flexible with substituting items, etc. Their wine knowledge was excellent and the service fantastic.

My wife, some of our friends and I went here for dinner last night. We had a great time. Let's start with the upstairs being a big open area with a very nice bar. We were seated in the back and had a great view...More

My lady and I stopped here for a drink after a show at the Academy of Music. There was a feel good vibe here with the band playing 80's and 90's music which we enjoyed. Our service was prompt and friendly and our drinks were...More

Love the 40-50's vibe. Rat pack crooner singing live and working the room. Food great & Pat the bartender knows what hospitality is all about! Made our first trip to Philly very memorable and wanting us to come back & experience more!

Very dishonest place - the bartender tried to charge me $86.00 for 3 drinks. I had to dispute it with my credit card company. I will never go there again!

The night we were there it was a male singer performing Sinatra and that type of music --recognizable classics --- the music was from an older generation, really, but the dancing/bar crowd was younger. Maybe he varied as... More
