Went in for a celebratory dinner with my daughter after we moved to Philly. She's an international studies / French major heading for a career in diplomacy. This is everything we look for in a French bistro. Great, authentic food prepared with exceptional skill. Fantastic drinks. Laid back but attentive service. Go! We'll certainly be back!

Hopefully that translates properly to beautiful dinner. We happened upon the 8th Anniversary prix fixe menu dinner. We live in the city and this was our first visit. Wow! Impeccable service from Richard, amazing restaurant baked baguettes (sometimes available for sale we were told but too busy this night), chilled tomato soup, foie gras, filet with absolute perfect French green... My daughter is a foodie and this is one of her favorite French restaurants in Philly after 4 years of study in town. We were so glad that she took us here to celebrate her graduation. Everything was excellent. The atmosphere and décor remind me of bistro in Paris, a bit nostalgic but cozy. We were in Paris a few... More

We were delighted with our dinners. My husband had the best seafood omelet that money can buy. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is charming. We will do this again when in Philly

We have eaten here a number of times, but this was one of our best experiences. In addition to the a la carte menu, the restaurant now offers two tasting menus (5 and 7 courses). Since they could not tell us what was on the menus, we declined to go with those. They also have a 3-course "family dinner" on... More

It was our special anniversary and this restaurant was highly recommended. It ticked all the boxes. Authentic atmosphere and comfortable unstuffy feel. I started with a dish of poached eggs and mussels which was sublime. Perfect balance of flavors with the tarragon sauce. I had the Faux filet and my wife chose duck confit. Both perfectly cooked and presented. I... More

My family and I went to Bistrot La Minette to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service was excellent. Richard treated us like royalty and was very attentive. He even offered reading glasses to our reading challenged guests!!! Exceptional customer service! It is a cozy atmosphere with many options for both carnivores and... More

We liked everything about this restaurant. The interior reminded us of bistros in France. The service was outstanding - very professional and helpful without being overbearing. The food was excellent - main courses of scallops and lamb. Highly recommend the chocolate mousse dessert. This was our second visit and we will be back

I ate here instead of hitting 'Jims Steaks' which is a couple blocks away and came highly recommended. . . so glad I did. I love French Food but it can be an inconsistent experience in the USA. Not so at Bistrot La Minette !!! I ate beside the bar - attended by the bar tender who was great. Just... More
