We were delighted with our dinners. My husband had the best seafood omelet that money can buy. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is charming. We will do this again when in Philly

We have eaten here a number of times, but this was one of our best experiences. In addition to the a la carte menu, the restaurant now offers two tasting menus (5 and 7 courses). Since they could not tell us what was on the menus, we declined to go with those. They also have a 3-course "family dinner" on... More

It was our special anniversary and this restaurant was highly recommended. It ticked all the boxes. Authentic atmosphere and comfortable unstuffy feel. I started with a dish of poached eggs and mussels which was sublime. Perfect balance of flavors with the tarragon sauce. I had the Faux filet and my wife chose duck confit. Both perfectly cooked and presented. I... More

My family and I went to Bistrot La Minette to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service was excellent. Richard treated us like royalty and was very attentive. He even offered reading glasses to our reading challenged guests!!! Exceptional customer service! It is a cozy atmosphere with many options for both carnivores and... More

We liked everything about this restaurant. The interior reminded us of bistros in France. The service was outstanding - very professional and helpful without being overbearing. The food was excellent - main courses of scallops and lamb. Highly recommend the chocolate mousse dessert. This was our second visit and we will be back

I ate here instead of hitting 'Jims Steaks' which is a couple blocks away and came highly recommended. . . so glad I did. I love French Food but it can be an inconsistent experience in the USA. Not so at Bistrot La Minette !!! I ate beside the bar - attended by the bar tender who was great. Just... More

From beginning to end this was a fabulous meal accompanied by detailed and friendly service. To start we had the sunchoke soup which was puréed perfectly and we also tried the salmon carpaccio. Both were extremely delicious and plentiful for starters. The main course was also quite plentiful and flavorful. It was the monk fish with lobster butter. Their homemade... More

This is a nice little gem in South Philly. The food is genuine and fresh. Try the escargot, the presentation is different and fun. Nice wine selection including wine by the half pitcher and pitcher. Fun staff too. Give yourself some extra time for finding parking it's a challenge but worth it!

Fantastic food in a cozy atmosphere. They had a large wedding party when we were there and the host pitched in and became our waiter. Reservations I would say would be crucial but you never know. Excellent food. Great service.

We stopped in for lunch/brunch on a Saturday...and were glad we did. They are not open for lunch during the week and I was happy to see the menu went well beyond bacon and eggs. I had a lovely mussel dish with a cream sauce and two poached eggs. My husband had a very good fish dish: well prepared and... More
