We were a family of 6 celebrating a birthday and chose to have a steak dinner in the city. Del Frisco's offered not only an extensive menu but also a very nice place to enjoy a meal. The high ceiling and veranda inspired second floor that you also see in their restaurants in New York and Houston contribute to an... More

Reall a top notch restaurant. We had 20 people for a retirement dinner for one of my favorite people. We had a private Rome which was set perfectly boardroom style so we could al see and talk to each other. The food was spectacular as was the service. To start we had platters of iced seafood shrimp crab clams all... More

We've been here twice now on tours but still haven't had the chance to eat. The building is amazingly beautiful. If you can, go downstairs to check out the old vault. It's very impressive, as is the custom-built wine storage.

An unpleasant experience. The sloppily dressed waitress arrived as we were seated by the hostess, and immediately asked for our orders. We hadn't even picked up the menus! When we said we needed to read the menu, rather than give us a couple minutes, she proceeded to tell us all the selections. I'm perfectly capable of reading, and I prefer... More

This is a beautifully appointed establishment. It is vast and open (albeit a bit noisy), but first class from start to finish. The menu is full of delicious options for anyone from tuna tare tare to salads to deliciously prepared, quality meats. The service is excellent- very attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the city, or... More

The restaraunt is in an old bank building, complete with the old vault. An incredible wine list compliments a nice selection of steaks and chops. I had the Wagyu beef carpaccio and a cooked to perfection ribeye, my son went with the calamari and a bone in strip steak. His was also perfectly prepared, and one of the best steaks... More

Del Frisco's on Chestnut St. has consistently excellent food. The steaks are wonderful. Favorite is splitting the 16 oz. Prime. Sides are wonderful: Chateau potatos, creamed spinach, all delicious. Service is excellent. Where I find fault is the Del Frisco's house wine. For $20/glass you get a California appellation red that might as well be Sutter Home. Last weekend, ordered... More
