Hole-in-the-wall BYO korean lunch/dinner place which has really great, budget food. I found this place through a friend and we go there almost every time we get together for lunch. The service is meh. They're friendly but you order at the desk and they bring the food to you. The place also looks like a cheap cafeteria. However the food... More

I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good quality Asian food and are of the easy-going type. The place is tidy and clean and friendly, but very basic. Food is good and prices too. They also do takeaway. I would definitely go again!

Best Korean food we have had in the USA! And better than some we had in Seoul! The soups were incredible! So I don't spell the dishes wrong, I'll recommend by the menu number: # 3 soup--mild, tofu and vegetables abound! Smooth, soothing broth. Huge bowl! Served with noodles - and a small pickled radish side. #21. Incredibly flavorful soup!... More

I come here for lunch from work because it is close and pretty reasonably priced food. Nothing to complain about and their bubble tea is good.

Small place near upenn. Great food and frequented by students, try the bubble drink with hot steaming food. Quick service and reasonable price. More like a cafe than a restaurant

Went here on a whim, based upon a quick skim of TA and Yelp reviews. It's a small hole-in-the-wall that looks like it could have once been the office for a tiny used car dealership set off of a busy, downtown street. I arrived at about 6:30 on a Wednesday, and it was packed with mostly Asian youngsters, who I... More

Uncomplicated, you are always greeted in a very friendly, welcome manner by the owner. Vegetarians and vegans are catered to very nicely according to my friends. The Dolsot Bibimpap hits the spot. I once had the Kimchi Jigae and remember it wasn't the best I'd ever had. Not cheap but hits the spot for your Korean food fix.

This restaurant has a huge selection -- around 30 dishes or so -- and nearly all of them are priced under $9 for a huge helping. The servings are really overwhelming in size but so delicious that you still manage to eat them all. The owner is very helpful and will recommend food if you're not sure what you want.... More
