After visiting Mexico my family gets a craving for home made Mexican food, so doing a search I stumbled on this place....wow the food is delicious and natural with minimal additives. The steak tacos with added price de Gallo is my favorite and their green...salsa is to die for! This is my go to for Mexican food without going to mexico😉More

This place reminds me of the mom-and-pop Mexican restaurants in South Texas. The food was very good as was the service.

Very good and fresh Mexican food. I haven't been to a little shop like this in a while. Decent menu, tasty food. Will return.

Quetzally is much better than I dared expect. The tiny, 15-seat shop—with loteria cards on the walls and a drink cooler at the counter— looks like a kitschy tourist trap. The food quelled any doubts I had. Quetzally’s nacho plate was massive. Little touches—like hand-cut...corn tortillas fried super crisp instead of store-bought chips—made all the difference. Instead of ground beef, Quetzally serves house-made chorizo, well seasoned and lean as well as carne asada. Not knowing that the nachos would feed two people, I ordered the Tex-Mex brisket tacos—which would also feed two people. The brisket is rich, tender, and needed nothing from the shredded cheese or chopped romaine lettuce. The guacamole was far better than it should’ve been and generous, easily 1/3 of a cup on each taco. My Mrs. raided my plate and I still had enough guac for my tacos. The green tomatillo salsa was twangy and delightful. The red sauce had enough heat to satisfy our Texas palates. We would definitely go back.More

Quetzally is much better than I dared expect. The tiny, 15-seat shop—with loteria cards on the walls and a drink cooler at the counter— looks like a kitschy tourist trap. However the food quelled any doubts I may have had. Quetzally’s nacho plate is worth...the trip alone. Little touches—like hand-cut corn tortillas fried super crisp instead of store-bought chips—set this plate apart from corner-store nachos. Instead of ground beef, Quetzally serves house-made chorizo, well seasoned and lean as well as carne asada. Not knowing that the nachos would feed two people, I ordered the Tex-Mex brisket tacos, which would also feed two people.
