Book your table in advance as Zahav is always a destination in high demand among those seeking exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. They have a chef's menu too which is popular but its expensive and I would not recommend to those who don't want to seek all the experimental aspects and who are not looking for an elaborate lunch or dinner. Stick... More

We ate at Zahav and loved the inventiveness of the food choices. THe hummus was outstanding, as was the special pita they served with it. We loved all of the vegetarian salads. Atmosphere was acceptable, but it's the food that will bring us back!!!

Fantastic food and wonderful service. My only hope is that the chef returns to his hometown...Pittsburgh. We want him back!

Zahav is one of the top 5 establishments in Philly...full stop! The cuisine is as authentic Isreali as any Ive had anywhere stateside. The atmosphere is terrific. I cant sing enough praises of the restaurant. A must go when in Philadelphia.

Very healthy, incredibly delicious. If you leave here hungry you must play for the NFL and require 20,000 calories.

Every single dish was delicious, the ambiance is nice, and the service staff was attentive and kind. Even though they were busy, they were happy to explain what dishes were to you or make any recommendations.

Zahav is always top notch. It is best to go with a group of six and share so you can try almost everything on the menu. The fried cauliflower is out of this world! Service is excellent.

6 PM reservation for 6 people including 2 teenagers. Prompt seating. Spacious dining room. Menus come with extended explanations. Mainly small dishes. We opted for the $54 menu which included the signature lamb shoulder with pomegranate glaze (which was delicious). Each of the dishes, the hummus, the breads and desserts were well prepared, had interesting spices and were totally consumed.... More
