I was staying at the Sheraton Society Hill across the street and it was extremely cold and blustery outside. It was also 8pm on the Saturday night of Valentine's Day weekend. The staff did not turn my friend and I away. They were extremely friendly and sensitive to our situation. It was a short wait for 2 seats at the... More

Went to Zahav with a few friends, got off to a bad start as they seated us 30 minutes later than our reservation. They made it up to us with a free round of drinks however, and since their cocktails are 10-12 dollars that certainly made up for it in my opinion. The format of Zahav is difficult to explain,... There aren't enough adjectives to describe the amazing food and experience we had at Zahav. Chef Michael Solomonov, Steven Cook and their team have built a gem that until I ate there, I couldn't really believe. The food, the people, the atmosphere, all were superb. We were there with a large group and did the tasting menu. When the first... More

as other restaurants that serve Mediterranean only way over-priced. Very fresh and very good but so expensive for simple food.

Amazing. Every single thing they serve is unique, sophisticated, subtle, and delicious. This isn't dining, it's art. No foodie will be disappointed here no matter how jaded.

I'm not a restaurant critic or reviewer so ll make this simple. Loved everything about this place. Great atmosphere, light and airy. Service was excellent. We went there after my daughter's graduation. She majored in culinary science so loves to try different foods from around the world. There were 4 of us and we ordered from the tasting menus. A... Chef Solomonov has created a truly distinctive dining experience....The food is unique and incredibly tasty...The ambiance is fairly basic, but the views are pleasing and on each visit, the restaurant was bustling with dinner diners.

This is the second time I've eaten here and both times I've been really impressed by the service and the food. It's fresh, delicious and wholesome - in a great way. Everyone raves about their hummus - and with very good reason - but my favourite dish was the haloumi, dates and apple. I'm a regular visitor to Philadelphia and... More

Our first experience with Israeli cuisine and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and abundant. Our party of 4 all ordered the Tayim and as a result got to try al out everything on the menu, but in small quantities each. Don't let the small plate sizes fool you, you will get a lot of excellent food and not... More
