We found this restaurant by accident and we both were glad we did. We had appetizers, drinks, main courses and desert. We really wanted to know what this place was about and we loved every sip and bite. I had two lychee drinks and one...bourbon drink after dinner. I was blown away by both. I have NEVER had such flavorful and rich drinks as these. My cousin had all appetizers and I had the spring rolls. So very tasty. My main dish was a prepared rice and chidden bowl. This was not your average bowl. It has rich flavors and was filling which was what I was going for. For desert was the most unusual that I have ever had. I have had fried ice cream before but not like this. This fried ice cream was GREEN TEA in Tempura pastry then friend. Wow, what a treat. I just hope I am able to find this somewhere else. The waitress was fantastic and the whole staff were wonderful. If you visit please look it up and give your taste buds not only a vacation to dream of but an experience beyond belief. Oh yeah, it is that good. Thank you Yakitori Boy for such a delightful experience.More

Japanese restaurant with Karaoke rooms and bar. Great group fun. Karaoke rooms have adult VIP room feel but are clean. Standard Japanese dishes are good. Both alcohol and food well priced. Pre-gaming is helpful.

Enjoyed a night on the town in Philadelphia, PA at the Yakitori Boy Bar and Restaurant. Consisting of two levels of entertainment, cozy drinks and food on the first floor, and an energetic Karaoke crowd on the second floor. Both were fun. Multiple private party...rooms are available for corporate or family functions. Thanks to Security Guards- Nick and Soutiri, DJ Kevin, and Hosts- Ziara and Kate. Enjoy!!More

This was the 2nd time our company ate at this restaurant. And it was just as delicious as the last time. Also a lot of FUN if you visit one of their private karaoke rooms after dinner. They have a wide selection of Japanese cuisine...to choose from. Everything from appetizers, soups, tempura, sushi rolls, you name it. We ordered several appetizer samplers and sushi samples along with some individual items. There were 9 of us and had a great time! The service was wonderful and fast.More

Can i say how much I love this place just on the fact that they are open till 2am everyday and they have some of the best prices in town. My go to favorites are the fried bussel sprouts as appetizer and the pork ramen...bowl and shrimp tempura roll are a must try as well.More

Rented a private karaoke room with friends to celebrate a birthday. Each room gets their own server for drinks and food. Drinks are a bit pricey but that's expected in the city. Would definitely go back again for karaoke!

Don't judge a book by its cover! From the outside this place looks like nothing special, but the inside is so neat! A great place for Japanese food. Let's just say my Japanese MIL approves! The good was good, service fast, and prices not bad!...My picky kids tried some new things here and loved the atmosphere too! I have no experience with the Karaoke bar upstairs, but there is one. It's not a huge place. Reservations definitely recommended on a weekend for sure. There are only 2 one person bathrooms in the restaurant area. The private room in the back is neat, but small. We were a party of seven (5 adults and 2 children, 10 and 12). But, it worked! Just keep ordering food! They'll keep bringing it! Definitely a place to try if you like Japanese food! FYI: They don't open until 5 PM.More

We had just completed a stressful 12 hour drive. We were tired and hungry. This restaurant was recommended to us. We were greet promptly, seated and given menus and water immediately. Our waitress and server were terrific Jenna, Asami and Arron were terrific. We ordered...a variety of food. The portions are small, but we still shared. The soup and salad and appetizer were delivered first as we requested. The edamame was cooked just right. We loved the Ika squid. We ordered steak, with broccoli and sides of mushroom and asparagus. The magic sushi was a wow. Our servers were very attentive. Overall great experience.More
