when in Philly we do as the Philly peopl, we eat cheesesteak and I must say that I am glad we had ours for the first time in Dinic's, nice meat, well baked , a lot of it served on a french baguette , strong cheese added and choice of ketchup/mustard/ pickles to go on top.

The sandwich that won the "best sandwich in America" award a few years ago was delicious and not too expensive (about 10 dollars), the broccoli rabe was pretty tart but that added interest to the pork, the pork seemed brined (my favorite) since it had a subtle salty taste (people with heart disease may want to avoid), and the Italian... When in Philly I have to get a Roast Pork with Provolone, peppers and Broccoli Rabe at Dinic's at Reading Terminal Market. It's so delicious and made fresh daily you can't go wrong. I usually eat one there and take one home.

The cardiologist won't be excited about you visiting DiNic's, and neither will the gym trainer. "To the devil with them" is my answer. This place is all about meat - tender, lean, unbelievably delicious meat (and lots of it). The brisket is exceptional; order this with just the sharp provolone, and you've got the best lunch in the city. The... More

We got the pork sandwich with broccoli rab because it was voted the best sandwich in America, however it was too spicy and a little dry. My coworker got the meatball sub and raved about it. I think we should have asked more questions about the sandwich before we ordered. If you like spicy food you will probably enjoy it.

I definitely don't get all the fuss. Service was good considering the line, pork was tender and tasty, bread was average, adding the provolone and broccoli rabe didn't make it better. Was it the best ever? No. was it the worst ever? No. Thus my average rating.

We stopped here for our first lunch in Philly. It was very good, and set the bar high for other places. My husband and I split the pork sandwich (they are quite large). We got ours with cheese and broccoli rabe. It was fantastic. I also put peppers on mine (they have containers of them sitting on the counter). I... More
