Unfortunately , we arrived for lunch the wrong day. There was a water main break and the kitchen was closed . Marcia's memory of years past was fine dining. We enjoyed a glass of WA wine on the deck over Penn's Cove and back to town.

While travelling in the area, we drove by this location. A small sign said they were open for lunch and used local seafood and ingredients. We were directed to the restaurant area and could choose from the pub or beautiful outdoor patio dining area. The place is pretty rustic. The view is spectacular. For a short time we were the... I recommend the mussels! The place is 109 years old so it has character for sure! I read it's haunted but we didn't see any ghosts.

We ate dinner here on a Sunday night. We had reservations for the outside deck for 6:45. We arrived and had to pick our own table as no one was there to greet us. We had to ask for menus twice and first off got the tavern menu but we were supposed to be able to order off that one... More

We had dinner here while staying at the Inn. It was amazing! We were able to sit outside on the deck and overlook the water. Our waitperson was attentive without hovering, a delicate balance to achieve. I had the steak and he had the Fruits de Mer (fruit of the sea).. both were amazing! The Caprese salad was good, small,... More

We stopped here for appetizers/drinks one evening and sat on the deck/patio. There was no wait/crowd and we seated ourselves. It was a stunning view and prompt service. We ordered several appetizers, which were decadent, and dessert, which was also very delicious. The bread is so good! While we've never actually ordered a meal here, the appetizers are very large.... This old fashioned restaurant is located in a beautiful setting! The views of the bay from the rear patio is wonderful. The interior of the restaurant is old world dark wood, etc. Parking is fairly limited so go early.

Charming and rustic. A delightful log Inn built in 1907 on the shore of Penn Cove. The dining area overlooks the water and is very charming. The halibut that I had was delicious. They only serve dinner two days per week, however. The remainder of the week and restaurant and bar are closed.

My hubby took me here for our anniversary. It was a very quiet evening because there were a few diners around. It was also dark so the water view was not visible. The food was great - I tried the duck confit and hubby had the halibut and tuna poke. I would try the flame grilled beef tenderloin next time... More

First of all is the service i received here was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. The salad was perfectly dressed with on the ground garden petals. Food was perfectly seasoned. I only wish they didn't over cooked the beautiful steelhead!
