The restaurant is above a bowling alley which let me to think, yes biased, I would not find a great meal. We did. Servings were slightly larger than what you would expect in a 5 star review but that was welcomed. The halibut was perfectly...More

The sale of foie gras was banned in California in 2004. Due to legal procedures, there was a reprieve for a few years, but as of January 2019, alas, no more foie gras in California.

Our concierge suggested that we go to the Brassiere. Shocked that it was right above the bowling alley. I get it though because the restaurant faces a terrific view of the mountains which is fantastic at sundown. I started with the mushroom strudel which was...More

Bestie took me here for my 70th (how terribly strange to be 70) and we had a delightful experience. I tried the chef special halibut and it was delicate and unique. Service was impeccable and best of all it was Not Loud! The atmospheres is...More

This restaurant has many excellent reviews and some that are bad. I can understand that. The first impression doesn’t look impressive because it is upstairs from a bowling alley. It actually is nice because once you are upstairs, you don’t hear anything! The facility it...More

Our group of five all agreed that this was the finest meal we shared in Mammoth Lakes. Superb quality food masterfully prepared by Chef Frederic. Really good wine list. Service was professional and friendly. Best in town, without a doubt. Highly recommended.

Christmas Eve was an expensive fixed price menu, a bit over priced and really too much food. I would have liked the option to just skip dessert. It was not quite what I expected as far as quality and we felt rushed as they were...More

It's always fun to find a new restaurant in one of our favorite towns to visit. We've dined at Mammoth Rock Brasserie twice now, and it's been divine both times. Our food selections have been delicious (I highly recommend the Elk entree), and the chef...More

Dear Amanda, You had a reservation for two on NYE. We were completely booked for that night, even if at 5:30pm, when you arrived, the tables were not yet full. You were offered a table for 4 with the caveat that we needed the table...More

We are mountain casual. People like to dress up a bit, but jeans or whatever you are comfortable wearing is good. We don't recommend ski clothes, because you might get too warm!
