The restaurant is above a bowling alley which let me to think, yes biased, I would not find a great meal. We did. Servings were slightly larger than what you would expect in a 5 star review but that was welcomed. The halibut was perfectly...More

The sale of foie gras was banned in California in 2004. Due to legal procedures, there was a reprieve for a few years, but as of January 2019, alas, no more foie gras in California.
Our concierge suggested that we go to the Brassiere. Shocked that it was right above the bowling alley. I get it though because the restaurant faces a terrific view of the mountains which is fantastic at sundown. I started with the mushroom strudel which was...More
Bestie took me here for my 70th (how terribly strange to be 70) and we had a delightful experience. I tried the chef special halibut and it was delicate and unique. Service was impeccable and best of all it was Not Loud! The atmospheres is...More
This restaurant has many excellent reviews and some that are bad. I can understand that.

Our group of five all agreed that this was the finest meal we shared in Mammoth Lakes. Superb quality food masterfully prepared by Chef Frederic.
Really good wine list.
Service was professional and friendly.

You had a reservation for two on NYE. We were completely booked for that night, even if at 5:30pm, when you arrived, the tables were not yet full. You were offered a table for 4 with the caveat that we needed the table...More
Mammoth Rock Brasseris is located on top of the Rock n Bowl bowling alley! It has a good view of the surrounding mountain and has outdoor seating. (it was too cold to sit outside) The service is friendly and the food is pretty good. However...More
