We went on a Saturday night, and had a 45 minute wait. No problem, go to the bar ... but it was overflowing with people. We got "lucky", though, as a table opened up and we ordered dinner. Horrible food. It would have made El Torito seem good in comparison. Poor service, bad food. We won't return. Ever.

While staying overnight in Mammoth Lakes, we drove around town and found Roberto's. It was very busy and we had to wait for a table. The reception supervisor was very pleasant and gave us an idea of wait time. We went for a short stroll and when we came back, a table was ready. Due to the place being busy,... More

They have very good american style mexican food. Think lots of cheese sauce and meat. Really good and filling after a day outside. The best part is the bar upstairs has delicious margaritas that are nice and strong. This place is a Mammoth cornerstone eat here at least once while in town!

Large plates. Great staff. Loved the guacamole. Everything was fresh tasting. 4 in our party and we all had something different. Yummy. We will return.

The portion sizes were HUGE and the men enjoyed the burritos. I had a salad with chicken on it. It was okay but the chicken was stringy and dry. I should have just gone for the calories of a burrito.

Good sized portions, good salsa and reasonably priced. I had a beef taco with rice and beans and couldnt finish it.

This restaurant serves American-Mexican food and if that is what you're looking for, then great that is what you're going to get!! On the menu are LARGE burritos, chips and salsa, enchiladas rancheros, taquitos, (probably hard shell) tacos all served by a friendly and eclectic staff. I prefer my Mexican food regional and traditional but appreciate that most would equate... More

I have been going to Mammoth Lakes over the summer for the past 10 years and this is one of my favorite restaurants. The best things to get at Roberto's is the flour chips (ask), guacamole, and margaritas. All of the burritos and fajitas are delicious as well.

A little bit out the mid-down town area but worth the drive. If you're looking for a nice quite dinner, try dining downstairs. Upstairs is where the action is, with a full bar, tables and chairs, TV's and a kitchen. We were served chips and salsa before we sat down. Quick service, good drinks - we got there around 6:00...
