This place is a local institution that's worth a visit. It comes kinda close to capturing the authentic ski lodge vibe that most of the rest of Mammoth so desperately (and unsuccessfully) strives to achieve. It's a throwback steakhouse so go with it like we...do: escargot, french onion soup or lobster bisque, ceasar salad, steak, baked potato and chocolate lava cake. Or if you're short on cash, stop in for happy hour where almost everything is 30% off.More

Erik gave us great recommendations for dinner as well as wine. Very knowledgeable. Food was great. We love the place.

I was one of the first in line when it opened and being a solo, I was quick to order. I ordered the burger and fries. Not much wrong with the burger but the fries were not overly warm. I found this hard to understand...as they had just opened. My wife would have sent them back but I didn’t want to wait for a fresh lot, so persevered.More

We had to wait about half an hour for a table, but it was fine, we just chatted to other people waiting. The restaurant is decorated in a 1920/1930's style, i liked all the posters on the walls. The food was nice, i had a...Burger, my husband had Mac n' Cheese, for dessert i had Churros with ice cream, my husband had cheese cake, it was good, but they had put lots of fruit syrup over the top, it looked a little over the top. Nice place for dinner.More

Before we went, we read some of the reviews which indicated that the service was not exactly supplying. But we hoped for the best. Instead, what we got was pretty bad. When the greeter saw that we arrived with two toddlers and a baby in...a stroller, he was less than enthused and clearly communicated this to us through his gruff and abrupt manner. Our waitress was a little better but not by much. She never came by and asked us if we wish to have our water glasses refilled. And when she did check on us, this was pro forma and quite abrupt. otherwise the food was adequate. We had the fish and chips which was reasonably good but nothing to write home about. However, the bread they served with the meal was very tasty. Needless to say, but I will, we will not return here on account of the wretched way they treat at least some of their customers.More

Visited here on 25th of oct. We had pasta dishhes which all was under average. Even mac & cheese with bacon didn’t have enough salt. Service espcially was really arrogant and bad. After this all they put tip aitomatily pn the bill and would not...do anything about it. Stay away from this place and go somewhere else.More

Till almost 2 hours to get out did. The veggies which were supposed to come with my meal never arrived. The tarragon sauce was in a plastic take - out cup instead of over the steak. When they took my plate to box it to...go, they didn't put a lid on the sauce, just stuck it in the box. Didn't tell me to hold it upright so when I opened it the next morning, the tarragon sauce was all over the potatoes and bread.More

I sat in the bar area for dinner. The staff was incredible and the food was good. This seemed like a community meeting place where the locals shared joy

Cozy pub like atmosphere. Great meatball sliders and good conversation. Would make this a sure stop if back in the area.
