This bar features your common bar food, such as fish tacos, burgers, and nachos. For bar food, it's fine. There is live music at night which seems to draw in a good crowd. Not a place I need to visit again for dinner but I could see stopping in for a drink at their semi-outdoor bar while people/dog watching while... More

I think this was a newer restaurant since we do not remember this from the last time, but my 14 yr daughter is a Buffalo *anything* fan and when she saw a Buffalo chicken sandwich on the menu she was in heaven - Service was really good and the food was good as well. At first it looked like a... More

As we visited early - 5pm - we were able to get out meal as a takeaway to enjoy in our room. The food was beautifully cooked and the cod was amazing. We were also supplied with tartare sauce, lemon pickle and napkins which was a nice touch and much appreciated..

First off, this was our first visit to Mammoth Mountain, so for dinner, we were trying to hit a selection of restaurants and venues. For the dining choices in the Village, we decided to try Lakanuki, because we are both fond of Hawai'ian cuisine and the tiki bar experience in general. First, of course we ordered mai tais. Well, they... More

This is a popular and somewhat famous place (I think) and one of the only bars that are open at night but closes at 12pm on Saturday!! I had the ahi burger and it was great. Very relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The decor is questionable. Is it an age worn Tiki Bar or is it made to look old and worn on purpose? Decor and sticky table aside, the service and the food were above average. This was th e only place in a ski village on a Martin Luther King Holiday/NFL playoff Sunday who could seat us in 15 minutes... More

We had a great dinner at Lakanuki tonight. We had an early dinner after skiing and took advantage of their happy hour drinks. I had a huge Mai Tai for $4.50. My husband and I each had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with the Lomalomi side salad. It was delicious and one of the best deals in Mammoth. The restaurant... More

Lakanuki is the best place to go in mammoth after a day of skiing or any other afternoon. The happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 has great food and drink deals. The atmosphere is great as is the service.

Much like all the other reviews here that state the scene in Lakanuki is Hawaiian themed. For some odd reason in a ski adventure resort area like Mammoth it kind of works. There is ample seating and a cluster of TV screens spread throughout the place. The bar is primarily set up like a sports bar serving bar food and... More
