Great place after a day of skiing

Great food. The cook is fantastic. The location in the Village is very convenient. A little expensive. Service is good and the food was served quickly.

Breakfasts are quick and easy. Great place to grab a beer and burger and watch the games. The owner is great as well!

Went here for breakfast, and the food was decent fare, but fairly ordinary. With all the restaurant choices in the Village, if you're really into breakfast you might want to try elsewhere. We didn't hate it, but can't rave about it either. Service was pleasant, but slow.

Whilst the waitress was very nice, the food was really bad. Ordered fish and chips came cold. After complaining, they tried a 2nd time, fish was now warm and super oily, fries were even colder. Lost my appetite and returned Food, but still they wanted to charge me. Never again.

Had breakfast here this morning with my 18 year old son. Their menu is small but in this case, quality trumps quantity hands-down! I had the french toast and my son had the coconut pancakes. Both were amazing in both size but uniqueness. As we ate we perused the menu and watched other dishes coming off of the grill -... More

Scarily understaffed during Xmas week and kitchen poorly executed basic fare like hot wings and Jumbalaya. Clearly these menu items were previous frozen and defrosted; we tasted the freezer in both. Even the hot chocolate was atrocious - basically warm milk in soapy mugs with little chocolate flavor - YUCK! Toomey's needs a kitchen makeover and a wait staff seminar.... More

Love the breakfast and dinners. Las time there I had the Elk and split with friend that had the pork chop. Best elk ever and pork chop was big ol thick cut, perfectly cooked tender. Salads are fresh, and some unique foods in very casual dining, Try the jambalaya, Its more ciopino style but really good with big crab and... More

So, there was a blizzard in Mammoth and we had been recommended to go to Toomey's by a local. What a great idea it was. Seconds after we walked in, a blackout occurred in the entire town and for 200miles. We had salivated over the menu but found only soup could be offered. It was the best Mushroom and Sherry... More

Great place. Always has been but recently my family and I have seen a slippage in the food and service and cleanliness of the place. Toomey- you know who you are all the way from the Lee Vining Mobil station. Don't spread yourself too thin. Focus on this place. All the rest of the readers. Still worth it
