The child's menu is limited. We came in late to eat dinner after a long drive. The duck breast was overcooked, tough, and a bit cold. The duck leg was stringy and tasted like they put it in the fryer. Mac and cheese was decent. The tomato soup was too salty and concentrated, it may have been on the stove... More

I had breakfast here. The views from the restaurant are lovely. The food is fine and the staff are friendly. Good choice in Mammoth for proper breakfast

Had some drinks and light bites to eat at the bar the night of my arrival. It was okay. Nothing to write home about and the bartender had a strange affect. It was almost as if he hated his job, but knew to overcompensate but just revealed anyway a certain contempt for us. I have a idealist view of hospitality... More

We came here for dinner on Wednesday evening. Fortunately for us, they had an extended "happy hour" (6-10 pm) on that night. Flank steak was perfectly prepared to order. The potatoes were very tasty. Calamari was some of the best we have ever had in California. Service was excellent. We would definitely come back to this restaurant the next time... More

Both food and service quality is good. No pressure being lectured about how to tip as some reviews for Mogul Restaurant. Very relaxing and enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast here.

We had high expectations being the main restaurant in a really nice Westin hotel. The place is beautiful inside which gave me even more hope the dining would be outstanding. I have to say the bread and the sushi were pretty good. Other than that, the rest of the meal was bad. The park tenderloin had a funky texture (albeit... More

From the moment you pass through the door, you are in awe of the surroundings. The decor sets the tone for a fine dining experience. We sat at a window seat with a great view of the village and forest. The staff is top notch. Kudos to our waiter. His sense of timing was impeccable. His mannerism was warm and... More

I ordered a continental breakfast: fresh fruit, wheat toast, granola with yogurt, coffee & o.j. Daughter ordered eggs benedict with the hollandaise sauce on the side. My breakfast was served quickly, but nearly 10 minutes before my daughter's, so it sat and the toast went cold. She loved her breakfast once it arrived (didn't eat the hollandaise); my yogurt was... While they advertise half-price sushi specials on Mondays, the 50% price reduction brings prices to parity with very good sushi in LA. While I have no issue paying for great sushi and expect to pay higher prices in the mountains, the quality of the fish and preparation in no way justifies these prices. The fish was very dry, the rolls... More
