You better come here hungry because the meals are quite large, and while you may walk out weighing more, your wallet won't be much lighter. Speakig about large meals, even the appetizers are a meal in themtselves. Try the nachos. Three of us had a hard time finishing them. Be sure to try the chocolate malt ice cream.

Very popular restaurant, waited 20 min for a table (didn't have a reservation); great atmosphere and courteous waiters. Lunch menu is quite restricted bu all the plates we ordered where well cooked and presented. Nice place for any occasion (maybe not for a romantic date since noise volume is high)

We were a group of six who hadn't seen each other in months, great to finally get together. As normal we chatted over cocktails and didn't order right away. This seemed to frustrate our server a bit. Ordering took a bit as we went around the table which also seemed to frustrate our server. Everyone food was excellent. My wife had the Tuna appetizer which was beautiful and tasty, while I enjoyed the Tempura Cauliflower which was nice. We really like that they offer 1/2 portions on the pasta dishes which helps after the larger portions for appetizers. These dishes were nice. At the end of the evening it would have been convenient if we could have gotten three checks which we were told strictly one check per table. Now this group doesn't mind the three CC split but seems unnecessary with today's sophisticated Point of Sale systems that are available. I've noted many restaurants that can quickly do split checks even after the ordering by quickly putting a 1,2,3 after each item orders. Simple with new POS systems. Not sure why a place like Apollo couldn't do this, I was told a strict one check per table policy. Don't like that much.

They have consistently great apps and mixed drinks here. We sat on the sidewalk which is not as nice as the patio in back but has great service. The apps are usually so good, I order one for dinner. We had Calamari special and I had tuna tartar with chips. Both were delicious. My guest had Tuna cooked rare and she loved it. Waitstaff were attentive and were all wearing masks with a rainbow. The downside to the street is people walk by between the tables situated on the side of the building and by the street parking. It is a side street so there is not heavy foot traffic but not all of those people walking by wear masks. You must have a mask to go inside to the restroom. I suggest making a reservation. They also do take-out.

First of all I have to tell about the first class manner that they handle their customers. I had an unusually long wait at the SSI office down the street and my wife went shopping. We were planning to meet at the Apollo for lunch. She actually landed there before me and was seated at a table for two and ordered a glass of wine. Forty minutes later she was still waiting and even volunteered to leave the table as it was lunch and there was a crowd. The Maitre de insisted that it was fine and she should wait as long as needed. It was at least another twenty minutes before I finally arrived. This alone speak volumes for their hospitality. We were not disappointed with the food or the service. Our waitress brought drinks and told us the specials. My wife ordered the crab and asparagus soup and blackened fish taco's. I had the French onion and the brisket sandwich. My wife said the soup was terrific and mine was excellent. The onion soup base was thick and very savory with lots of flavor and crispy croutons. My brisket sandwich was delicious with loads of meat and more onions. More than I could finish. The blackened tacos were called excellent and quite spicy but not enough to overwhelm the fish. We were both filled and passed on even coffee. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive and the Maitre de stopped by to see if everything was OK. I don't think I could rate a place more highly for service. Great attitude and food.

This restaurant is no joke, food was exquisite, refined, fresh. Despite receiving the food fast, food was well cooked and fresh did not felt rushed. Service was another level. It is very obvious why this placed is rsnked so high and has so many excellent reviews.

Tremendous menu ranging from a great selection of appetizers and sandwiches in the $10 - $15 range on up to wonderful, but more expensive meals. Oh, did I mention the wait staff from the receptionist to the waiter/waitress are most cordial. For those who love malted milk, this is the only restaurant I have found that serves malted milk ice cream. You just gotta' come here.

Meh. Failed to meet good quality or ambiance expectations. Visited for lunch the week after Christmas. First table to be seated. Heavy metal music playing loudly over sound system (asked to turn it down, at minimum, which was accommodated ). Cleanliness during these Covid times? Average. By end of lunch, every table was filled apparently by locals celebrating the holiday season, a birthday or anniversary. Perception that this is deemed special occasion experience, but wasn’t for us as tourists. Food tasted like reheated leftovers. Price $64 for 2 without beverages. Table service gets 2 thumbs up. Price/value out of whack. Metered street parking difficult at this holiday time.

So we booked a hotel last minute on Valentine's day and decided we would grab some dinner once we got into Bethlehem. Apollo Grill was the #1 ranked restaurant and we gave it a shot by just walking in with no reservation and them being fully booked. MAN WAS IT AMAZING! Walking in the door we were greeted by the General Manager Jansen who not only was very accommodating and got us a table within minutes but continued to be heavily involved in our dining experience. Between Jansen and our server Michelle, any question we had was promptly answered on the spot. Michelle took exceptional care of us throughout our entire evening at Apollo Grill with her knowledge of the specials and drinks, and her keen attention to detail. The owner Rachel personally stopped by to check in on our dining experience and we ended up chatting like old friends who hadn't seen each other in while. The food was great, the drinks were great but the service and the staff from top to bottom made this one of the most pleasurable dining experiences that we have ever had. Thank you. -The Fishers

I wish I could give this establishment 10 stars. The food, the service, the staff and everything in between was top notch. My wife and I stopped in on our way to our destination from Oakville and were ecstatic that we did. The Hawaiian burger she ordered was even better than my amazing regular burger. Even the sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly which is like finding the holy grail as far as I'm concerned. Their homemade sauce that went with the fries was to die for, was by far the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend to anyone that is passing by on the highway. It's worth the stop!!

There are three things about Apollo that make it superior. 1) Consistency. The place is always excellent. 2) Front of house empowerment. Servers are equipped to handle customer needs and requests at the drop of a hat. There is no “let me check with my manager” or “we don’t really do that kind of thing here” with Apollo. The staff accommodate readily where necessary and are always friendly and helpful. 3) The menu. My kids had the lemon pancakes, my wife had the french toast sticks and I had the tater tots platter. By the names alone that doesn’t sound really exciting, but the execution of each of these dishes and the flavors in them, aside from the complementary limoncello at the end made for a delightful meal for my wife and I and our 7 and 12 year old in tow. I could review Apollo every time I eat there and sing their praises. This review is long overdue. Thank you for being spectacular as ALWAYS.

One of my favorite places in Bethlehem. The food is excellent and always fresh. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and the place was packed. We were able to grab the last two seats at the bar and eat. Service was excellent even though the bar was full. I would recommend a reservation since it's not very big. This was the first time we stopped in without one. The service and the food are always top notch. They have a medium size menu with lots of appetizers, salads and sandwiches. The entrees are only available for dinner. There is a full bar and extensive wine list. Great little gem! There are also nice little shops in the area to walk around after a great meal.

My friend was visiting me from Texas. We were walking around Bethlehem last Saturday doing some shopping. We were hungry and we happened to walk by Apollo Grill. We peeked inside to see if there were two seats at the bar that we could take. Honestly, the ambiance of the place was very unimpressive, but it was Saturday night and our original picks were booked full with reservations so we decided to give the place a try. As soon as we sat down, Alexandria/Alex greeted us and got our drinks. My friend asked her some questions about their gins. Alex was so knowledgeable. We were both very shocked to learn that she just started working there a week ago. Also, her service was impeccable. She was very attentive. She anticipated our every need. Our drinks were never empty. We never waited or wanted for anything. She had such a sweet disposition and she really made the experience so special for us! As far as the food is concerned, all I can say is wow! We shared the beef carpaccio for an appetizer, the pan seared duck with herb risotto, carrots, and parsnip puree for dinner, and bread pudding for dessert. Each course was better than the one before it. The food and service there was absolutely divine!!! By the end of the meal, the ambiance was so irrelevant to me. I will definitely be returning to Apollo grill after that night!

Just off the main drag in Bethlehem is the City's best restaurant. It has a pop art decor and amazing food. Every item is familiar but is given the Apollo twist. I would describe the place as "hip dining". The staff is efficient and super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. You should, however, make a reservation because the place gets really crowded unless to go early when they first open for dinner.

Our lunch at the Apollo Grill on a visit to Lehigh U was excellent AND Covid friendly. Two thumbs up! The restaurant takes Covid protection seriously, which we appreciated. We had the brisket sandwich, the fish tacos, and the cheese pizza. Loved that the fish tacos were made with cod (not nasty tilapia) and with cilantro and a nice crema. Everything was tasty, so we also splurged on cheesecake and a strawberry tres leches. Yum.....
