We're visiting friends and they took us to dinner at Yianni's Taverna. The food was excellent and very authentic. We were a table of four Greek foodies. Both the chicken and pork souvlakia were delicious. We were allowed to sub a small Greek salad for the fries and it was perfect; nice slice of feta, several kalamata olives and just... More

Seems an unlikely location for a Greek restaurant, but a short drive uphill from the Lehigh campus brought us to this eminently pleasant Mediterranean spot. We only sampled breakfast/brunch menu, but we all enjoyed our selections. The Greek style hash made with lamb was something you don't see everywhere and is recommended.

Very welcoming once walking in. Their theme looks tradinal along with whats on their menu as well. The waiter was very informative being that it was our first time there and first time trying greek food ( other than a gyro). Will go again to try more.

Last night we made our first visit to Yianni's Taverna but it surely won't be our last. The restaurant is bright and cheery with lots of space between tables so you don't get that crowded feeling. I big screen tv showing different scenes of Greece was very nice. Our very efficient waitress Victoria was so helpful in answering any questions... More

We took a chance, just the two of us. It was Saturday early evening, just before 6 pm. The bar was not crowded; no sign of Meryl Streep. But a friendly, efficient bartender greeted us and we were in luck the rest of the way. My wife enjoyed an outstanding dish of striped bass, while I thoroughly savored a superior... More

The food was wonderful - reminds us of a vacation experience in Greece. Our waiter was friendly with a sense of humor. They have a video of pictures of Greece playing on a tv screen - once again reminds us of vacationing in Greece. A very enjoyable dining experience

We have been to Yanni's quite often. This is our go to restaurant when we want authentic Greek food. The atmosphere is casual elegant. With the decors cool blue palate, It seems to wisk one off to the Greek Isles. The food is first rate, and the service is very good. The front staff makes you feel like family when... More

Former tavern tries to go upscale and fails. Menu reads well - but the actual experience was a waste. Food was overcooked - probably leftovers from the night before and the service as elementary - again not paying attention to the needs of the diners - go to the south side and buy a gyro.

Restaurant is up the hill from downtown B-hem. Easy parking. Friendly front desk. (She remembered me from booking call.). Authentic blue and white tables. Airy. Plenty of room between tables. Upbeat, helpful server (Victoria). Comprehensive Greek menu. Many choices for mid-range Greek and domestic wine. Appropriate pacing of dishes. Straightforward preparations of fresh ingredients, made on site. Rivals any Philadelphia... More
