This place had a more interesting menu a couple of years ago. Now it's basic burgers, fries and greasy typical American stuff. Veggie burger Ok but not as interesting as before. Had to wait 75 minutes for a table at 8:00 at night!

Actually the only place. Fairly average food and not so bad. Limited choices but we are a far piece away from anything. Meatloaf was fairly average as were the sides. They are very proud of it though. Prices are about double of what you would...More

We ate here every morning before going out to hike all day. The omelettes and French toast are excellent. We loved the coffee, too. If you ask, they'll provide you with a full "to go" cup in addition to your breakfast coffee.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here before a full day of hiking. Blueberry pancakes made with fresh blueberries, hash browns that weren't too greasy, and great coffee! Service from a kind and speedy waitress and we were on our way to greet the day!

We were in Death Valley for the Superbloom, but so was everyone else. The 49er was open for lunch, and since there are limited options in the park, we went there. The 49er Cafe is primarily a burger and sandwich shop and has a limited...More

We ate at the steak house and didn't care for it.... average food for above average prices. The cafe was the best of the three restaurants at the ranch. Also, we waited to be seated for about 30 minutes - but it was lovely because...More

Ate here for dinner while staying at the Inn at Furnace Creek. The service was fine, the food came quickly, but everything was a bit expensive for what it was. But, that's dining in a national park.

We had two meals at the Cafe- dinner and breakfast. The service at dinner was average and the food was okay (not a lot of flavor but okay). At breakfast I ordered pancakes and coffee and told the waitress that I had a food allergy...More

Summary: The food was good, but it was a bit overpriced (as you would expect in Death Valley) and nothing special. Food: Good, but nothing special. The salads were great, but the entrees (like pasta) were small and not special. Service: Great. Overall value: Okay....More
