I drove 70 miles to try this little diner after several nice reviews. After picking up my brother at his office, we had lunch consisting of Slow Roasted Red Beets, Vietnamese Noodle Salad, Fried Green Tomato Bacon Goat Cheese Sandwich and topped it by splitting a very moist Chocolate Cake with cream. All foods were organic, made to perfection and... More

For something special, enjoy Meadowlark. Every time I have eaten here, it has been memorable, and the atmosphere is charming. The owners support local artists as well.

Went here a year ago because a friend got me a gift card, had never been or really heard of the lace. Upon arrival the building and interior is not one of those Taj mahal looking places but I though the meal is on a friend so let's go! What I found was they put their time and money into... More

I met an old friend for dinner. I had not been to Meadowlark in over a year and unfortunately, time was not it's friend. The service was S-L-O-W and the food not really worth the wait, though the company was great. I had fish, which was overcooked on the thinnest area, and undercooked on the thickest. Meadowlark overall has a... More

Visiting early (5:45PM) with no reservation, we gambled we would get a good table & we got lucky. 15-20 minutes after our arrival folks were waiting for seats in the main dining area-bar seats were still open. My wife had the Pinot Grigio while I had the the Chardonnay & both were fine. Wife was thrilled the Crab Spaghetti was... More

Upon arrival, even though we had reservations, we had to 10-15 minutes before our table was ready. Everyone at our table ordered something different. Most enjoyed their salad and/or entree, however, one (my wife), who never complains about a meal, told me after the fact that her garlic chicken was tasteless and rubbery. I had carbonara spaghetti, which was wonderful.... More

They have the best beets ever!! Served fresh with goat cheese, nuts, and a horseradish sauce. Also one of the best burgers I have ever had!! We try to eat here at least once every few weeks. The ingredients are always fresh and the drinks are fun!! A must try for the Dayton area!!

One of my favorite restaurants. From fried green tomato sandwich at brunch to the Lark Burger to the 7 Bridges Salad to their amazing entrees at dinner, Meadowlark food is always delicious. I also like that the menu and specials change a bit each visit.

We were there last year upon some family member's urging, but were disappointed. The food is so, so, the price did not justify the food, the people tried, but I was someone how amazed that it did have a loyal following, even though I did not see long waiting line.
