Carillon Brewing Co

Ratings and reviews

Certificate of Excellence2017 - 2018 Winner

Location and contact

Carillon Historical Park welcomes you to the nation's first production brewery housed in a museum. Carillon Brewing Co is a place where the 1850s in Dayton comes alive. Historical recipes, ingredients, and techniques are used right before you to reproduce the ales that Daytonians once enjoyed. Each drink is a story about how beer has changed over time. Our hearty fare continues this dedication to history by sharing dishes by the early immigrant brewers. (Food served 11:00am-9:00pm daily.)

Had a group meal with about 30 and the staff was super. We had herb crusted chicken, a selection of brats, toasted vegetables, and mashed potatoes. Very tasty. Incredible atmosphere!! This is a can’t miss destination.

Over the top excellent. Great service. Great food. My husband loved the beer flight. You can see the whole process of making the beer they serve. They have food that is authentic to the 1800's. The selection is extraordinary. The roasted garlic soup could have...More

This is a recreation of an 1850s brewery using 1850's techniques. The beers are true to the period and above average by modern criteria--a near miracle given the technology used. Well worth visiting.

Their breads, buns, rolls and pretzels are not gluten free, but they have several vegetable sides and meat dinners - the roasted chicken is delicious.
