You have to try a burger at muncnies. One of the best around. Long time Fruita business that has been a success for years. Big menu, lots of great sandwiches and burgers along with chicken tenders and even pizza. Highly recommend munchies when you are in Fruita.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch, had a small pizza and iced tea. Was a very friendly place and the food was great!

I had the Smoky Mountain Burger with waffle fries, my wife had Grilled Chicken Salad, and my daughter got a Philly Dip sandwich with curly fries. Fries were fresh and crisp, not greasy. Fast service. Order at counter, server brings food out when its ready. Relaxed atmosphere, nothing fancy about the decor. My kind of place - focus on good... More

As far as fast food goes I've been everywhere but Munchies is as delightful as it gets with a great menu that has something for everyone. The Green Slopper...Well what can I say? One bun, two patties, covered in green chili and cheese. Thought u had died and gone to heaven. The fries are great!!! My wife had a peanut... More

This is a burger and pizza place, so I guess it is fast food. But, unlike many fast food places, this place does a lot of cooking. I haven't had their pizza - I can get past the burgers. Good burgers and good chicken sandwiches. I love their use of local green chile and frequently add it to any sandwich... More

Our friends suggested that we grabbed a bite here after visiting the Dinasaur Museum at Fruita. As it was a little past lunch, we thought it would be good to eat something light as Munchies sounded like a place for it. My husband and I played it safe and we ordered a salad with cold meats and a small cup... More

This is a fun old-fashion restaurant near the heart of down town Fruita, Colorado. Amazing employees, amazing service and food is delicious! My Family loves it. It is in the mid-range price though, so if you want cheaper quality food, head on over to the fast food chain. But if you want great quality food and a friendly environment, head... More

Don't order the pizza. Worse than frozen pizza, premade crust, down hill from there. Sounds like we should have had a burger. Sad that the pizza place on the other side of the freeway was closed on Monday.

If you are in Fruita and need a grease stop this is an excellent selection. However, as other reviewers have noted, this is a hit-or-miss place. Make sure you go at high traffic times to get a better grease serving. The servings are much larger than the other local fast food options for a similar cost, so if you are... More

I've tried this place several times and even went back after having burnt zucchini and a reheated burger because I had a coupon. A lot of people love this place. I don't because it's hot or miss. If I'm paying to eat out I want a sure thing.
