And we were not disappointed even if the alcohol license has still not been renewed. However, this did not detract from a fabulous fish & chip meal and, hopefully, we'll be back again next time in Ventura even if it's 8,000 miles away.

I think this was unquestionably the best fish and chips I've had outside of London! Light batter, not at all greasy, delicious fish and chips. A rare find just off the beach.

The artichokes were very good! We also ordered the Ventura combo.... didn't like the scallops because of the texture. It was like ceviche. The flavor was good. The fish was ok and the shrimp was the bomb. We got 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings. The fries are ok but the onions rings are amazing. The place is really small.... More

Went for lunch because read reviews and it sounded like a place not to be missed. We ordered clam chowder to start..meh..I like my chowder on the thicker side so it was just ok. We ordered deep fried artichokes with ranch dip and again just meh!! We got a 3 piece fish and chip to split and again nothing special!!... More

We stopped by this place to eat and the burgers was okay, but we were no fans of the extra crispy fries.

I love fish and chips but let me tell you there onion rings are the best and well known amount the residence. Eat outside, inside, or take it with you.

I am not a seafood lover, but this place is my exception. Cod, and scallops, and clams, oh my! And the beer-battered fried artichoke hearts are genius.

Have been going here for about 10 years and love the place. Staff is always friendly. Just a note: they no longer have dollar bills hanging all over the place. The place was redone after a car had an accident and ran into the front of the store. Love their fish and chips and recently they started serving hamburgers just... More

Stopped in here after a trip to Anacapa Island and boy am I glad we did! The fish was cooked to perfection, our waitress was a rockstar - very friendly and patient, despite being the only one working - and the prices were very reasonable.
