Actually better than the ones in London! The restaurant is literally a walking distance by the beach! Great Location! Awesome homemade tartar sauce!

Took my Dad there for Father's Day. Not out first trip. He had the Ventura combo. It was Cod, Shrimp and Clams with chips (fries) and a couple of onion rings. I love that you get a couple onion rings with your entree. The Fish was cooked perfectly. The homemade beer batter was light and fluffy and super tasty! They... More

Went to check out this place on a June Gloom day. Based on some previous reviews I decided to try this place out for lunch. The lady that works there is very nice and happy. I ordered the Ventura and my friend ordered the shrimp & chips. The food is prepared to order but it is soooo greasy. Both cocktail... More

Arrived at about 11:45 this morning and glad we did as we just beat the lunch rush! It's only about 200 feet from the beach so the location is fantastic. I ordered the fish & chips and husband ordered the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Fish and chips were really good (even better than Thousand Oaks Fish & Chips!)....served... More

Stopped in when we pulled over for gas in Ventura, tried the Giants platter with fish, shrimp, clams, fries and onion rings. The batter used was great and it all was fried perfectly. The Halibut tacos were very good also and the clam chowder had a hint of rosemary (not sure what to think of that, I'm kind of a... More

I love this place! Every time I'm in Ventura, this is just a stop I have to make. I usually get the 3 piece with all of the home made sauces...and the vinegar of course. BUT.....one of my favorite things to get is the beer battered artichoke hearts....with the ranch and the habanero sauce...SO GOOD!!! Just go...just do it.

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years now and it never changes. They serve good fresh greasy "fish & chips" British style. There is nothing fancy about this place... it only has 5 or 6 tables inside, each for 2 people, but they have a great "bar" on the side of the building that the locals use and... More

Eat in or take out. Very good fish & chips. The clam chowder was thick and creamy, full of potatoes and clams. Friendly service.

The place is small but the food was great. The young lady who waited on us was prompt and very nice. We ordered fish and chips and shrimp. The fish and shrimp was lightly battered and it melted in your mouth. YUM!. It was one of the best places we eat. I encourage anyone to try it.
