Stop in Busy Bee for lunch today. All tables were filled but only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Food was well prepared.

My wife and I walked up from our hotel to this restaurant. It has a cute exterior and interior. (Old fashioned 1950's Look) We were quickly taken to our booth and our waiter reviewed their menu. We were amazed by their menu variety and great prices. Our waiter told us that the portions were large too. My wife had the... More

Great time was had by all seven of us. Four adults and three children!!! A great 50's type place. 1/2 lbs hamburgers, great shakes/desserts and service by Christy. Celebrated two birthdays and where else can you find a old juke box that plays two songs for a quarter. Of course, some did not work.

Stopped in for breakfast while site seeing in Ventura. Good food and friendly people. We had french toast and coffee. Prices were affordable. Having to get a token to use the restroom was a new experience.

Back to the 50's if you remember that far back! Diner/coffee shop at its primo best. Authentic decor, menu, huge portions, unbeatable prices. You will not be hungry the rest of the day if you start out with the fabled ham steak and eggs. Burgers, fries are the best.

Visiting Ventura for a couple of days on a West Coast trip with friends. Wanted a good coffee and breakfast pace and found while walking through town. Great variety of breakfast options and even apple butter for toast! ( Folks from the South don't expect that in CA). Highly recommend if visiting Ventura.

Busy Bee saved an awful day of our vacation. Our son was running a fever and I had a broken ankle. Decided to walk into town from inn and found cafe. Staff so very nice and accommodating. Great kids menu and shakes! I loved my eggs Benedict and my husband his burger. We will be back!

Went here for breakfast with family. Waitress very nice. Coffee tasted good. I ordered the oat bran banana pancakes, my son ordered the ham steak breakfast plate. Portions were huge on everyone's plates. Food was fresh and hot. Price was reasonable.

I'm visiting Ventura and I was down on Main Street and decided to go into Busy Bee, which I've been in too years before. Was greeted by a friendly young man and seated the way. I think the waitress I had is being trained. I ordered shepherd's pie, which I have made myself and I've had other people make for... More

You will love Busy Bee Cafe in Ventura. It is on Main Street which is cool area you will want to visit anyway on any vacation that includes Ventura. Busy Bee is a 50's style cafe with old fashioned booths and juke boxes on the table. It can get crowded but the wait is not too long. Their breakfast is... More
