Always good food. Wonderful service and wonderful people. I have never gone wrong. Very popular on weekend so try during weekday if u can. Favorite dishes include huevos rancheros and the various specials... I l ok ke the potatoes done "well done" or "extra crispy". Chile Verde omelette or salmon and steak are great when available.

Great Spanish omelette. I had a salad with it and one of their great biscuits. The waitress was friendly and efficient

I visited Pete's whilst staying a couple of days at the nearby Crystal Motel in Ventura. It was a Monday morning and yet there was still a line to get a table but I took and immediate seat at the counter as I was dining alone. The menu has all the typical American breakfast favourites and it's all good hearty... More

Great coffee, glorious hash, and heavenly biscuits with homemade strawberry jam made for a wonderful breakfast. The service was warm, friendly, and efficient. This modest little spot is a must if you're anywhere near Ventura.

Went there because a reviewer raved about the corned beef hash. It was very good but I have had better. Place was bustling and service was friendly and top notch. The fritatta was excellent, and the biscuits yummy. I will go back.

We arrived about 11:00 am on a Saturday morning. Even though it was crowded we were sat in about 20 minutes. We ordered our food and were surprised how quickly it came. I ordered lunch...a turkey burger and it was fresh, huge and delicious! My husband ordered an omelet and said it was good. He loved the strawberry jam, not... More

There were four of us for the meal. Two of us shared a bacon and cheese omelet with VERY yummy potatoes. One of us had the taco salad that was a really nice portion and the other one had the patty melt. The patty melt was cut into 3 good size pieces and came with fries. We had homemade salsa... More

My family had all the regular breakfast dishes: French toast, pancakes and huevos rancheros. All were delicious. However, the highlight was my meal: Poached eggs with country potatoes and baked salmon. The salmon was baked in it's own little baking dish and it was superb. Thanks for a great meal Pete and crew!

had the frittata omelet with Italian sausage. best ever. however, most enjoyable part of the breakfast experience was meeting Andy and his 84-year-old mother, Barbara. After we finished our meal. Andy and mom chauffeured us up to Hobson Heights, then to the Cross. We saw spectacular views of the city and also learned a lot about the mission and its... More

My husband and I stopped on our way out of Ventura. We didn't think we could get in because it was close to closing but they happily invited us in! It was a great experience! Happy and nice staff! Good was exactly as we ordered it. It was fresh and tasted great! Definitely plan on hitting it up every time... More
