Eric's has good food and you cannot beat the beach view mostly from the bar on the second level. The problem is that it is a bit expensive and it can be loud. The beach house tacos across the way is a good choice for fish tacos.

Our group visited here years ago and has always wanted to return. We were not disappointed on this visit. All the fish-lovers enjoyed their meals and the non-fish people had a few choices too. Don't expect a 'cheap' meal though; the prices are mid to high range, but worth it for fresh fish.

Hint: Ask for an outdoor seat. I think they are first come first serve. We were lucky and got a table outside with a nice view. Great views and just enough outdoor heat to take the chill off. We had drinks and appetizers. Our server was friendly and fast. Prices we reasonable for Southern California. This is a cool place... More

The food and service are decent enough. We just had hamburgers. but what we liked the most is watching the sunset.

I spent a week in the area on a business trip... Looking for a place that had some good surf and turf type meals.. This place did not let me down. I highly recommend their peel and eat shrimp, and prime rib...

No intimate dinner here. Large room, but no view of ocean! Small place to eat outside, but this menu was limited the last time I was there. I was disappointed. Even the fish did not look fresh. Really...

Nice pier location in Ventura. Self service restaurant with wonderful beach views. Clam chowder was very good although they were out of bread bowls? Bloody Mary's were good. A bit pricey, especially the bar...but that is typical for a beach restaurant.

Great seafood, nice restaurant and service. Food with a view! Great choice of seafood, and the right size.

Accidentally stumbled into this place and was super impressed. Definitely found a new favorite in Ventura. Grilled mahi tacos were phenomenal and clam chowder was not bad either. Between all of us we ordered the full gauntlet of the menu and were all very happy.

The set up isn't my ideal with having to go up and order and then go back up and pick up my food. The food is always great and the folks are friendly. I will go again because the food and staff are excellent. I wish they had servers to take the order and bring it to you.
