My family and I had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago. The food was very good, the atmosphere friendly, and the staff very hospitable. We ate in the patio, as we had our dog with us.

Really cute cafe that looks like a little home. It's pretty small and the menu isn't extensive but my pancakes (7 multi grain) were amazing! I used the real maple syrup that they have too so make sure you ask for that if you like real maple syrup. My husband got the waffles and my kids did also with eggs. Price... More

Nothing to write home about. All ingredients looked to have been bought from a restaurant food vendor (e.g. Smart & Final quality). Food wasn't locally sourced whatsoever. For small place with medium-priced food, I expect much better. We might as well have gone to Denny's.

Ordered the power slaw salad with kale (there was no slaw an no kale - oh wait there was a rotten baby kale leaf) - horrible! The greens from the salad were rotten beyond belief, the waitress was very compassionate and credit the bill, but it came with chicken (I planned on giving it to my dog) so they charged... More

What a bonus to have this very excellent restaurant right down the way from Pete's. When there's that long line, there's no wait here and everything was top-notch! Chilaquiles, the skillet scramble, and huevos rancheros were all so good - hard to imagine waiting so long for a table at Pete's when you can eat here. Service was very good... More

The Golden Egg restaurant was always a place I have overlooked, but after having gone to the Golden Egg on a school field trip/getaway, I realize that this restaurant has great service. The staff managed to serve about 40 teenagers at once surprisingly quickly, and even though the food wasn't great (a little cold), it was till a fun outing... More

Went here for breakfast every day while we visited my sister. It's a wonderful breakfast that screams hometown. The waitress told us that the owner makes everything fresh each day, nothing is carried o we from day to day, and you can tell it's true in every bite. The employees are very, very attentive, and our coffee cups were always... More

Decided to try Golden Egg as we wanted to skip the long wait at the recommended place next door. So glad we did. Had a delicious breakfast and the super nice staff made it even better.

We went here as Pete's a few doors down was way too long of a line and we were hungry! We got seated right away outside on their patio and had a nice omelet with potatoes. The cinnamon roll was made out of biscuit mix so it wasn't what my niece expected but it was still good. We had to... More

The potatoes are just too fragrant. They are infused with rosemary which makes for a savory breakfast...sort of a dinner potato served at breakfast. It is too specific a flavor. I couldn't finish my potatoes, and that's my big splurge when I eat out-so it was a bummer. I vote-get a potato with no rosemary and more people will wander... More
