We traveled to El Paso and spent four days in New Mexico. We love all varieties of Mexican food: Tex-Mex, New Mexican, Sonoran, etc. Our first stop in El Paso was to Franky's Restaurant. Food was excellent! Set the bar so high this is our...new standard for Mexican, and in the four days afterward, not a single restaurant was as good. This appears to be a small restaurant but do not be fooled, its larger on the side than it appears. Service was excellent, these folks should give lessons on how to perform customer service. But with restaurants, its about the food... and the food was perfectly seasoned, cooked, and served. The salsa seemed odd, a thin mixture with chopped vegetables but was spicy and delicious, unashamed to admit we went through several bowls. Chips tasted as though made in-house. Food arrives on a cart served with such a flourish I felt as though I were in a five-star restaurant. My only regret... we don't live closer to El Paso to eat here more often! Frankys will definitely be a stop on each of our El Paso visits.More

My standard for a Mexican restaurant is the rice and beans. This one fits the bill. The table salsa is delicious too!! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely be back!!

My cousin took me here to eat for breakfast. The customer service was great. The food was delicious too. It’s a small place. I had the flautas which were pretty big. The salsa is amazing too.

We lived in El Paso for many years and moved away in 2010. While traveling back to El Paso we made sure to have breakfast at Franky's and it is still as good as it was. We enjoyed ourselves. Give it a visit.

Two of us enjoyed an affordable lunch served by friendly and helpful staff. I was steered away from the chile rellenos and towards the daily special, enchiladas rancheros. The sauce was advertised as spicy, and was, but not overwhelming. For $6.50, I got a nice...cup of soup, three cheese enchiladas, rice and beans, and a cookie. My husband had cheese enchiladas with a very tasty and mild green sauce. We took a lot of food home. Either lunch would have served two of us. The decor is nothing special, but it is very clean. In fact, a couple of times we got a huge whiff of cleaning solution - thankfully not while we were eating. Service was prompt. We took a take-out menu with us because we'll definitely be back.More

Family operation where the locals go. Some of the best Mexican food anywhere, simple surroundings, very safe and friendly.

In the sixties I ate my first Enchiladas in Anahuac Mexico and liked it very much. I never was able to get good once like I had over there. Until now. Frankys Enchiladas woke up memories. And we will be back again.

Had lunch at Franky's today. I ordered a chicken burrito and my husband had the small combination plate. The food was good, loved the refried beans, salsa and guacamole. The burrito was loaded with chicken and the combo plate was good. Noticed signs for tamales...and cinnamon ice cream that we would try next time.More

If you want some great chili relleno's, Frankie's is the place. This is a great family restaurant which will do any menu item however you want it. Mexican shrimp cocktail was wonderful. Quick friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. This place has been around for...over 30 years and it's due to just plain great food, good service and a consistent quality. For great tasting, very reasonable prices Mexican food, Frankie's is the place. Drive a little and get a lot. Great choice.More
