First time to visit this restaurant as it is considered a seafood place and I prefer other foods. However, this was a special day as it was my spouse's birthday and my son had a gig there as well. The restaurant was dimly lit so I had to use my cellular's flashlight to read the menu. Prices were higher than... More

The customer service was good. Bear in mind I'm no longer on the East Coast, with that being said the seafood was okay and we are unsure if we will return.

Portions are small to medium. Nice place for adult dining. I have not taken children, but have seen some with family, when I have visited.

We dined here in part because there are not so many choices on Sunday nights; and we remembered good food from past visits. The interior is quite dark, and the tables are far enough apart that you cannot hear most other conversations - a plus! I had intended to order a main course but the mussels with chorizo in tomato... The food was very good, and the one thing that wasn't done right they fixed right away. We got fish & chips, oysters, prime rib, and the beef kabob child's plate. Drinks were made very well, and the food was delicious. Some places cheap out on the fish but they used a good firm fish so it wasn't soggy. They... More

Pelicans offers a professional wait staff and very good food; parking can be difficult on weekends. While eating on a a Friday night at the west-side location with our 12 year old, we had steak, shrimp, fish, salad, plus side items. Pelicans can be like walking into a cave. It's dark inside compared to the sun of El Paso. We... More

The only place that I have ate at that they charge you for your sides because they don't come with the entrees. The waitress nor did the menu explain that you get charged for your sides.

Good seafood is not easy to come by in El Paso. AFter one of our favorites spots closed, we looked around for other possibles, and decided to revisit Pelican's, recognizing that "steak" is the first word in its logo. We ordered the trout and the pasta with shrimp, tomatoes and spinach, with a starter of the calamari. The latter was... More

Went here for dinner with a friend. Right when you walk into the place it's like your back in the 80's. This is a very old school restaurant from the atmosphere to the menu. We started out with crab cakes,a cup of thin canned tasting clam chowder and a average looking French onion soup then we had a couple filet... More
