This is an excellent little out of the way place for breakfast and lunch (I don't know if they're open for dinner or not). They have different specials each day ... I had the omelet, which came with refried beans, hash browns, and a tortilla (fresh and hot; I think they're made there). Even with coffee, it was still under... More

This was a highlight of my trip. Definitely a place where locals go. The unusual but delicious but not too hot tlalpeno soup is a highlight. It's like chicken and rice soup with a chipotle pepper and avocado. The closest thing would be tortilla soup with out the tortilla and even better. Served in appetizer, medium and large sizes you... Had the Mexican plate and it hit the spot. Very fresh and authentic. Check out was embarrassing as somehow new guests are supposed to know that your bill is waiting at a window in the restaurant although all other service is at your table via a wait staff.

This is one of El Paso's best kept secrets! It has the most authentic, freshly made Mexican food around! My husband and I have our lunch dates here since it is only open for a few hours a day. I love the soups and he loves the tacos & enchiladas. It is definitely a "must try" !!

I was brought here by a local and later in the day, returned to the neighborhood searching for this restaurant so not to forget it. After a long journey to El Paso, we arrived here for lunch and it was everything I needed and wanted. As usual, we started with chips and salsa. The two salsas served were excellent--spicy, rich... Another day trip to El Paso. I had business in the vicinity of this restauranat so I asked if it was worth going to. I was told it was very good and that many business people and politicians, including the mayor of El Paso ate here. I drove right to it and found it to be packed with business people.... More

This restaurant can be a little hard to find if you don't know El Paso, but it is worth the search. It is not a fancy place and it is a bit small, but the service is friendly and first rate. The food is also excellent. In particular, the caldo tlalpeno is fantastic. This is perhaps the best value in... More

I've tried most of the items on the menu, along with the daily lunch specials. Everything i've had is good. The service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place for lunch.
