Dined here with two friends who both ordered a small combo plate with ribs, sausage, and brisket. Their eyes were bigger than their stomachs but they were not alone. Plenty of trays piled high with delicious looking meats passed through the massive dining rooms making their way to hungry and delighted diners. We began with an appetizer of a half... More

Another restaurant with a lot of hype but the proof is in the experience and the dinner check. We shared a large combination platter and although everything was good, it wasn't fantastic, and certainly not worth the $75 for three diners. No appetizers just one steak and potato and one combination platter that included 3 spare ribs a quarter chicken... More

The atmosphere is great! Feels like you are eating in a cabin. Food tastes great and the customer service is friendly and nice. We sometimes have our Team meetings at the State Line for lunch.

I've been coming here for 34 years. It has been an iconic BBQ restaurant. I was disappointed this last weekend when I took my son out for his birthday. The service was quite perfunctory and the food disappointing. The prices are high. Not worth the long waiting line.

We visited here on a date night and just shared a platter. The chicken was outstanding, sausage fantastic and briskek cooked perfectly. The side dishes are very good, excellent cole slaw. We waited on a Saturday night at 630 about ten minutes, not bad. Bartender very helpful, our waitress was outstanding. Do some comparison pricing. I wanted a steak and... More

We had excellent barbeque at the State Line restaurant. The restaurant is worth the drive out into the suburbs. They have plenty of choices on beer and margaritas but the highlight is the excellent barbequed meat. We both had a combo plate with lean beef brisket and sausage, potato salad, Cole slaw and beans -- yum! We should have split... More

There are 3 versions of all you can eat. All are winners. The sauce is great. Perhaps a little mild for my taste. But this place is a must if you're in town.

Visited the State Line on Sat., July 16, 2016 for dinner around 4:00 p.m. Restaurant was not busy at this time. We were quickly seated in a dark corner! Our drink orders were taken & when they were delivered our dinner orders were taken. We ordered homemade bread, 2 meat lite with ribs added (brisket & turkey), 8oz Prime rib... More

This upper valley mainstay is popular, produces quality BBQ, and gets you fed and out quick. Very large complex...dine in or outside, this is a comfortable environment-cozy for families, and the food is second to none. Fresh loaf bread!!! WOW!!! Full bar.
