Steak is their specialty, and one will not be disappointed. But not thick cuts. Fabulous salad bar that cannot be beat. "Steamed vegetables" MAY have been run by a steam table on the way to our table. A bit raw for my taste. but what to heck, this is a steak house.

This is best value in El Paso. Salad bar is beyond expectation. Service staff is exceptional. Steak and Prime Rib served as ordered.

I went to Cattle Barons for lunch to celebrate an employee's promotion. though I ordered the lunch prime rib, and it was decent, I recommend the soup and salad bar. Everything is fresh and there is a great variety. Service was decent for the size group we had. Not a bad place to try if you are looking for variety... More

We had a large group of 15 or so guests. The lone waiter serving our table nailed it with top shelf service. The strawberry margarita was excellent. It's definitely a great steakhouse but the shrimp scampi he's honorable mention. The salad bar could serve to be its own restaurant with a large and diverse selection.

The food here is not special. The steaks are more in line with an Applebee's etc. I got a filet mignon and it was just average. The loaded baked potato came without butter or sour cream and none was offered. The server also forgot my Caesar side salad. Pretty disappointing

I've been here a few times. It is good just not great so I don't mind it. There are a few good menu options but my go to is usually the chicken fried steak. I've had a few different steaks here but have never got it cooked the way I ask. As for the side and salad bar my favorite... More

Excellent staff. Waitress Martha is outstanding- friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Salad bar extensive and very good - from soup to dessert. Onion soup just ok. Salads very good. Fruit/ desserts excellent. Main dishes mixed- fish very good, steaks not so good. Desserts very good.

Located near the airport, with lodging close by, we think Cattle Baron's salad bar is the most varied and fresh in El Paso. This restaurant is noted for prime rib, which has never disappointed, however other menu items are very good as well. Staff members are polite and helpful with menu options.

I love the salad bar, especially when they have cottage cheese. The on in Ruidoso has cheese you can slice. The Las Cruces one offers the best Menudo. They call it posole. Add an order of green chile cheese chicken won tons and you will not regret it. You can have dessert off the salad bar. They offer the best... More
