Great service! Food was average. The fried rice was terrible. Not worth the price. Will not go again. Need to open Chopsticks!

I am a local who had not been to Paco Wong’s for quite some time. In the past it did not have good reviews, but I decided to give them another chance. The restaurant is very attractive inside. Good lighting, nice appointments to the decor....The menu and prices seemed standard. I ordered “Kung Pao” chicken and a beef Chow Mein. The flavor was underwhelming. I added soy. I requested some red chili (paid $2 extra for a little bowl of chili when a teaspoonful would have been enough). Even with the soy and chili the flavor just wasn’t there. The vegetables were well prepared and the sauce was just thick enough...but... The fortune cookie was crunchy and tasty thank goodness! Wine prices are good at the moment with 50% off to celebrate their anniversary. If I return soon, it might be to have some wine and maybe try an appetizer.More

Decor and inside very nice looking. All the staff was very courteous and attentive. Today was busy, Mother's day, and service was good and fast. Food portions were generous. Plenty left over to take home. Food was very tasty and seasoned just right. IMO, much...better than Chinese franchise style restaurants .More

Paco Wong is an odd place, real table cloths, impeccably dressed wait staff, elegantly served dishes that definitely catch the eye. But the food is bland. It would be a good place if they put the same effort on the flavor as they put on...the looks.More

A party of three, wanted to take my Sis from Cali a nice meal. Saturday night, Halloween, 9 PM only a few tables being used. Host greets us and takes us to a table in the Lounge area, takes our drink order and walks away...carrying the menus with him. Had to ask a waiter for menus. Drinks served, my martini screwed up after I'd clearly stated how I wanted it when I placed my order. Shrug shoulders and let it go. Food ordered in a timely manner. Soup arrives. The great Salt Lake had nothing on what the cook had done to the simple cabbage soup. Totally inedible. Oh and while we were experiencing this amazing soup the live "entertainment" decided it would be a smooth move to come sit at our table and serenade us, without asking of course. Tempura arrive next. It's pretty much the only part of the dinner that was half way edible. Shrimp was fine, the egg rolls not so much. Everything else they served was pitiful except the egg foo yung. Chicken chow mien was bland and overlooked, beef was tough as shoe leather, the duck was or appeared to be some sort of reconstituted mush in a dreadful red sauce. 90% of the food we were served was boxed up and ultimately fed to our unfortunate dogs. This wasn't our first visit to this restaurant but I expect it will be our last since no restaurant could survive serving this places quality of food. Staff turnover has to be some of the highest in this area. Sad that this is happening to what has been a good and comfortable place to dine. RIP Paco Wongs!More

Terrible food and customer service. If you want Chinese food and it must be close-by Moon Star is better, better priced, and is across the street; otherwise head towards Pei Wei or P.F. Chang.
