It's your typical hibachi/sushi restaurant, so be prepared to spend a little bit of money. Overall the food was really good but nothing unique or to write home about. Most likely I'll be going back again but it's nothing I would be absolutely craving.

By invitation, I went to this restaurant with attentive and attentive staff.
I opted for the Weekday Box, that is to say a bento: assortment of small preparations typical of Japanese cuisine (offered at lunchtime during the week). First of all, I was treated to a bowl of very fragrant miso soup. The bento consisted of really tasty Cali rolls (sushi where the seaweed sheet is hidden by the rice), gyozas (well-filled fried ravioli) fried rice and large marinated shrimp. It was an explosion of flavors where the quality of the ingredients was magnified by the talents of the cook and all washed down with a good Asahi beer.
Well, this is an address that I highly recommend.

Our first visit to a hibachi restaurant and we loved it! Our chef was entertaining and kept us laughing. The food he cooked tableside was delicious! And our waiter in the beginning was very helpful by giving info on menu choices. We bought a $15 bottle of Mango Sake after eating and shared it with our table mates. Super fun! Be sure to make reservations.

The chefs are awesome. The service was far from good. The manager is condescending and has no care. I would be wary of meeting friends there due to the gratuity policy. The policy is if four or more of you sit together someone not all will get hit with the gratuity.

First off we spent 300 dollars here. So keeping that in perspective you would think the hostesses in front would be nicer. It was a fun night, yes, but their staff was unfriendly and rude to us when we arrived as if they were doing us a favor. I blame the management here as they should be aware of the greetings and behaviors of these people. I would like to return but not sure because if we are spending this much on a night out, I think we could be treated with a smile at the door and accommodating service staff. That is what they are and if they hate their job then quit and go back to school or something. Do not recommend as it is very expensive as well.

I am here at the west side location. The pandemic really did a number in customer service. We were seated at a dirty table. I asked that he cleans it. I ordered seaweed salad. It came without small plates to share. I had to ask for them. We ordered water. It comes without straws. I had to ask for them. We ordered a Kama sutra roll and a rainbow roll. The latter one has the smallest pieces of raw fish that I have ever seen. Another west side restaurant crossed out on list. If I am paying, I expect good food and good service. Whether it is for lack of training, poor management or whatever, I didn’t get my money’s worth.

DON’T MAKE A RESERVATION HERE AND EXPECT THEM TO RESPECT IT. The first time I made a reservation for hibachi a month ago, the hostess messed up the reservation and put us down for normal dine-in. Once we arrived, my friends and I were told over and over that it was our fault for not specifying but I had specifically called to reserve because I figured that the grill would be completely booked. We ended up leaving and not having any dinner because of how rude the staff was to us. Today I decided to overlook the situation from last time and make another reservation over the phone for 8:15. The hostess told me that there was a table available at 8:15-8:20pm and I told her that that was fine. We arrived early at 8:00 to confirm our reservation and make sure it was correct this time but upon arriving, the hostess informed us that our table would actually not be ready until 8:30 and pointed to the party sitting at where our table would be. The manager then informed me that the hostess had told me over the phone that our reservation would be ready by 8:30, blaming me yet again for their poor time management. Koze is not reliable, it’s not a place to go to if you have any special occasion because you run the risk of not being seated.

I hate this restaurant the cooker were terrible server i waiting in the table about 2 hour & my food was cold . They forgot about me. . So i got a fight with the owner about the food i ordered. So I not coming to this restaurant no more they wanted me to give them $50 for no food. So I said.no . The address is 2204 joe battle. Is was 2 guys a fat & a skinny guy.

DON’T COME HERE!!! Omg this restaurant completely messed up my birthday!! We were 15 min late for our reservation and I called to let them know we were going to be late!! And they treated us like we weren’t going to pay. The waitress and the manager kept insisting that we order and we hadn’t even gotten our appetizers yet!!! Horrible service! Then I was like “seriously can I at least finish my beer before I order my dinner” and they were like “we have another reservation after you guys.” uhhh you guys agree that that is not my problem right! And I had already heard that these guys did that but I honestly did not believe it! They suck WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Waitress was seldom seen. First glass of wine took 30 minutes, came after appetizers had been served and mostly eaten even though wine ordered first. Had to go looking for our waitress for another wine. Never did find her. The absolute worst service. No manager ever came around. To add insult, the tip was included in the bill. Would not have tipped, but it took too long to get the waitress to come around. Over this place. The worst.

Koze serves very poor quality of service compare to the price that you pay. You pay over $30 for the FM but the quality of service is $10 restaurant.
