First time at this restaurant and truly hope not my last….The chef, Carlos, and his team did a wonderful job preparing authentic Venezuelan cuisine….the young lady waitress was very accommodating …..all the foods arrived at our table hot from the stove….not heat lamp….all foods were...delicious from the small plates empanadas, champiñones…..the main plates of Spanish tortilla and sopa de mariscos ……the arepas…..YummmmmMore

I'd had Venezuelan arepas and quesillo in Toronto, so I thought I knew what to expect here, but I found it a tad disappointing. Strong points: I was seated very promptly on the lovely deck and my order was taken quickly. The vegetarian arepa (I...chose black beans) was good enough, and though the plantains were a bit dry, at least they were not oily. More than one staff member checked on me, and the guy with water came around regularly. I would also give five out of five for value. Weak points: It was a windy day with lots of oak pollen in the air. I asked if my table could be wiped, but the fellow sent to do it stopped at an empty table on his way to me and did an incomplete job of wiping that one, then did an incomplete job of wiping mine. I asked him to finish the job, and he then did. Later I watched a family of three depart. At some point their dishes were picked up by one person, napkins by another, but nobody ever wiped the table before the next family got seated there. It seemed as if the place was almost over-staffed, yet there wasn't a feeling of good organization when it came to the bussing. It took a relatively long time for me to get my simple meal, though two different staff members came about ten minutes apart to assure me it was coming soon. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon, so I didn't mind the wait. I finished with the quesillo, which wasn't the exact version I'd hoped for, but it was still very tasty.More

Finally got to eat here last night and it was really good.I had the Osso Buco and it was falling off the bone tender and really flavorful. My wife ordered the Shredded beef plate with rice, beans, avocado, plantains and a fried egg and her least favorite was the...shredded beef as it was a little tough. The drought beer selection is on point and of course the Mimosas were outstanding.More

Thank you for your comments! The pabellon crillo is prepared traditionally so we understand that it can be a little tougher for american standards. We are thrilled you enjoyed everything else! Come back again soon!

We had a fantastic dinner with this small family owned restaurant. We enjoy dining with family owned places, doubly so because these folks had to relocate from Venezuela. But the food has to be good, and they hit it out of the park. We split...three dishes, the avocado stuffed with shrimp and a spicy aioli, a beef carpaccio appetizer and the lobster tail with noodles. Each was delicious and unlike anything else we've found in Little Rock. Give them a try!!More

I have been to this restaurant twice. Once in October 2020 and then in late December. I'll start with positive aspects. Wait staff and management are super nice. Very helpful. Mojitos are good. Average aspects are the food. I have not eaten anything remarkable there...including appetizers, soup, and dessert. The negatives are organization and atmosphere. Both visits seemed to catch them unprepared. The last visit included 3 "we don't have that tonight" and we were the first (not the last guests) of the evening. The atmosphere is terrible. Dark, dingy, unorganized. Lights did not work because they didn't have lightbulbs in the sockets. There is a giant "junk" table in the middle of the room. No one wants to see your napkin folding table and takeout prep area. Move it to one of your back rooms.More

I went here with my husband on 12/9/2020. We ate dinner and were seated inside. There was one other table inside and they were related to the staff. The table and staff were belligerently drunk. We ordered a bottle of wine, appetizer, two entrees and...dessert to share. Our total was 143. The food was very good. The lamb was a little dry, but covered in sauce. The lobster was just slightly overcooked, but overall very good. We really wanted to enjoy our time. One of the servers, could be a manager, took several shots where we could see. She was singing loudly and poorly along with the music playing. She came to our table several times and it was off putting. Her father was the bartender and he was also drinking, though not so belligerent. Our server also took shots with the other server/possibly manager. All of the staff was drunk, loud, and made our experience unenviable. They kept apologizing, and said we were getting the real experience. We were very disappointed in our visit. Which is terrible because the food was some of the best we have had in Little Rock. If you don't mind an obnoxious and drunk staff, this is the place for you. We will not be going back.More

What a great place. Lexus was our waitress and she was perfect. The mango mojitos (Lexus recommended 1/2 sugar with mango and she was right) were outstanding. We consumed a pitcher. Pantano Frito (fried semi-sweet plantains) were outstanding. The caprese salad was a notch above...most and the quesillo (dessert custard almost like flan) was delicious. We shared the paella and it was good but not the highlight that the others were. Go. Enjoy a taste of Venezuela.More

We’ve come here before and have seen the Paella dish be served to other tables and always said we’d try it “next time”. Well the other night we did and it was spectacular. Just the right mix of seafood, chicken and rice the paella was...hand mixed at the table and served to us both. As I always do, I started with their Mojito which is about as perfect a drink made anywhere. Just the right balance of sweet and alcohol it is a great way to start any meal! Back to the Paella - the mussels, calamari, shrimp and chicken were cooked to perfection. Add an “Old Fashion” drink to it is a great pairing. You have got to try this dish!!!More

This is a great get away to a fun place with unusual food choices. The calamari is exceptional. We also had the Osso Buco and Fettuccine and were very pleased. The owners gave us free cups of the daily soup special. The staff is excellent...and the service was quick. The music is lively and contributed to our great experience. Wasn’t run over with people (we were there early) which was nice.More
