My family had a late Friday dinner at this restaurant. We enjoyed the queso dip and the salsa. Both were delicious. The waiter kept the chip basket filled with warm lite tortilla chips. We all agreed that my husband had the best meal, pork carnitas dinner. The pork was very flovorful and tender. The prices were good on their mixed drinks (Margarita $5 and Mojito $3). We had a very enjoyable dinner.

My family and I went to celebrate my Aunt's 60th birthday. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious, margaritas were perfect! The staff was attentive and made sure we had the best time.

I haven’t been here in a couple of years, because the first time it was ok- good, and frankly there are a multitude of choices in Little Rock for Mexican food. I loved my meal and experience as did my dinning companions last night. Tasty chips, salsa and queso to start. Nice bar, and the setting is nicer than many Mexican places around here. The skirt steak was done right, and even though Mole is not my thing, the cheese enchilada with Mole was tasty too. Parking was easy, a big place with plenty of tables - service was first rate. We will be back, much sooner this time.

Do NOT recommend at all. Came here with a large party. Waiter was not helpful. I had to go and get my own high chair (no biggie) then he refused to bring us straws. Said they should have been in our napkins. They weren't so I asked again for 2 straws. Waiter said to have our friends give us some from their napkins. So uncomfortably we had to shuffle through everyone at the table until 2 straws could be located out of their drinks to use for our kids. Seriously. Then he came back and asked us if we were able to order. No, we don't have a menu. He came back 2 minutes later asking us again what we were going to order. Again, I said we don't have a menu. He says they (meaning our friends at the other end ) had already ordered and we needed to ask them for a menu. It's chaotic, we are a large group of 10 people and everyone is talking and enjoying themselves. Four times he leaves and I'm thinking he is going to bring a menu for us to look at but each time he just comes back asking if we are going to order. The waiter finally says that the menu is online and to look at our phone. Unbelievably frustrating! My husband kept trying to pull up the menu online and was unsuccessful. Again the waiter comes back asking us if we were going to order. I tell him the wifi on the phone is not picking up and can we please just have a regular menu. He then says, pointing at our friends at the other end of the table again, "They managed to order. Are you going to order?" At this point i was done with the whole process. The 5 of us at our end of the table decided to leave. its quite obvious the restaurant doesn't want our business. we will never go here again or recommend it to anyone else.

This is the worst carry-out experience I have ever had, and I have been eating here for years! I ordered over $20 worth of food for pick-up.The portion size was almost half of what you would normally receive. They gave me to-go salsa in an extra small condiment cup meant for ketchup or mustard (see the attached picture). The salsa was enough for a total of 4 chips! Then to make matters even worse, they charged me for plastic utensils with a carry out order! This is just ridiculous! The prices have increased, their serving sizes have decreased, and they add on additional charges for things that are supposed to be included with your order without telling you. I will never order from them again.

The food was good and portion size appropriate, but the service was deplorable. The waiter never checked on us, and the service robot was not OK in what was supposed to be a full-service restaurant. We had to call a waitperson to get our food from the robot server since the plates were too hot to move. No one asked about dessert or additional drinks; we had to call to get our check because they were standing around watching the soccer and basketball games on the TVs. We will never be back!

A small group of us quilters went for lunch on Tuesday. Serving six should not have been difficult, but our waiter was simply not up to the job. He came to the table to take our orders, but had to go find a pen; he didn't write down all of the orders, so he had to come back with some questions. We could see him struggling with the computer touchscreen, which was apparently too challenging. Five of us had ordered soup, but one lady received a cup of soup instead of the larger serving in a bowl. Wouldn't you think that he'd have noticed that she'd ordered nothing else? She wasn't able to catch his eye to correct the problem, so she just made do with the tiny serving. One lady's soup was barely warm; none were piping hot. We had to wait forever for the waiter to pick up and process our payment, and when he finally delivered the slips for our signatures, he hadn't brought any pens. He finally apologized, stating that it was his first day. I couldn't help it: I said, "Yes; we could tell." His supervisor should have stayed with him, because he definitely needed more training! This is a convenient spot and usually we enjoy the food, but that particular experience was really POOR!

I order one of their specials, the poblano burger. It tasted like it had been rolled in cheap taco seasoning - incredibly salty. The "sauteed" onions were thick and almost raw, as was the tiny portion of "roasted" poblano pepper. The guacamole was bland and so runny that the un-toasted bun was immediately soggy. The menu stated that the burger was served with sweet potato fries, but what came on the plate were plain, frozen french fries, unsalted, limp, under-cooked and very cold. Your elementary school cafeteria undoubtedly served better fries. It was the most disappointing meal I've had in ages, and there are definitely many better Mexican food options in Little Rock!

I had not been to Santo Coyote in almost 2 years. I was disappointed in the reviews about service but decided to go anyway and take a friend. First, service was great. We were never without chips and salsa and our server was attentive without being irritating. We had the cheese dip and it was fantastic. Just the right spicy and the small order was just right for Two. My friend ordered the four enchiladas and they were fresh, temperature right and looked delicious! I have to pick two combo and selected chili relleno and chicken enchilada. The chili relleno is fantastic because it is sautéed rather than batter fried. It is light and tasty. But the star of the evening was the house margarita. My friend had a frozen peach margarita and I had a mango margarita on the rocks. These are the best margaritas we have ever had. We will go back if only to have the margaritas. Again, service was great, food was great, and if we had not been driving, we would have had seconds on margaritas

This was a re-visit to Santo Coyote after several years for a mid-afternoon meal. After being seated at a booth (requested) we were brought very fresh, crunchy chips and salsa and our "house" margaritas, one frozen and one on the rocks. They were served in a martini shaped glass and were quite tasty. (This restaurant is also a "tequila bar" so they evidently know how to make a margarita - they have more different brands of tequilas on display at the bar than I've seen other than in a liquor store, and maybe even more than that.) Our lunches consisted of an enchilada (chicken) plate and a "Build Your Own" plate - a beef enchilada and chicken burrito - both served with refried beans and rice. This restaurant has a friendly staff, good service and quite tasty Mexican food. It was a good experience and we will certainly go back sooner than a few years.

The food was okay, just not what we were hoping for or expecting. The staff could not be nicer. A bit out of the way for the other things we were doing in Little Rock.

I've some the reviews curious if there has been a change since my visit? I'll check it out again in week. My service has always been good and food very good. I love the beans are cooked in vegetable oil not lard and the tequila lime rice is yummy. Have I had better yes but this is better than most tex mex and offers some different selections not just the usual. Drinks were good and table side guacamole was a hit.

Two of us on a Friday night. Got seated right away and got tasty chips and salsa right away. As others have noted, the waitstaff seems stretched pretty thin as it took about 10 minutes for our waiter to take our drink order and after our (really tasty margaritas) came, another 10 minutes before our waiter could get back to us so we could order. It wasn't that he was slacking at all, but rather because he had about 8 tables he was responsible for. After we ordered, he was quickly back with delicious table side guacamole, and our meals arrived about 20 minutes after that. The food was better than your average tex-mex and reasonably priced considering the quality fresh ingredients. I recommend this place for the food and drinks, but not if you're wanting a quick meal before meeting friends, catching a movie, etc. they have a huge selection of top shelf tequilas and margaritas, so if you're into that, I think this is The place in Little rock!

Lovely patio and good table side guacamole. I've eaten here several times and would classify this restaurant as mid-range in price and taste. Recently ordered seared scallops which looked good until I realized they were ALL completely burned underneath. I guess the chef thought if they looked good on the plate, I wouldn't notice?? They were replaced quickly by a very apologetic manager, and were very flavorful. Will probably go back, but not first on my list of favorites.

Sorry, I don't usually even pst my negative reviews. But No. Just No. Food was unimpressive. Service was OK, but the server did not engage with us and seemed rush. Lots of chips on the floor. My husband liked the chips and salsa, but I thought the chips had a sweet flavor to them. My enchilada and taco were just tasteless, and like a previous reviewer stated, the taco was dry. I added salsa which helped. I guess growing up in Texas spoiled me, but I've eaten in many Mexican and Latin American restaurants in many places that were so much better than this. I would not darken the door again.
