Wonderful tacos and guacamole! A good lunch choice. My wife had two soft chicken tacos; I had three, split between al pastor and carnitas. Made with small corn tortillas sourced next door. The area is scary; the food is scary good. Closed Wednesday. (If you forget, as I have, H.B.'S BAR-B-Q is a few blocks away.)

My family and I have been coming here for a few years and are never disappointed. We don't live in the area and have gone out of our way just to eat here. The food is always fresh and is bursting with flavor. The pastor tacos are a must try! Very authentic Mexican restaurant.

I must have mexican fever because i have started eating here 3-5 times each week. Each day they have a great lunch special. Also fresh made and at great prices. In a bad part of town but no problems during the day. Enjoy real mexican food here.....

Reviews were really good on this restaurant. We drove a bit out of the way to find this one. We had quesadillas and a plate with beef, peppers, onions (not fajitas), beans and rice. The food came in good time, and was just ok. Nothing bad and nothing great. We paid a very reasonable check and went on down the... More

This has been my favorite hole in the wall for years. Not much English but some of the best people and food anywhere.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but the restaurant is large and exceptionally clean. The salsa comes warmed and was very good. As we were there on a Saturday, the Caldo de Res (beef stew) is on the menu, which I tried. My wife had the chicken gorditas and an order of guacamole. Everything was homemade and delicious....
