This was not a first time visit. Our most recent trip to Capital Bar and Grill for lunch was a little disappointing. The lunch special of the day was the signature fried chicken. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and somewhat dry. The BLT special was cold by the time it reached the table and the bread was definitely "toasted" more than... More

It's casual enough not to feel stuffy but nice enough to feel a bit upscale. Children will find something on the menu they will eat while the grown ups have an exquisite steak, poultry, or seafood dish. The wine selection is exceptional.

We were staying in downtown Little Rock recently and this looked to be a decent choice for a downtown location. The place is well appointed and appealing if you like a dark, cave-like feeling. The place looked to be quite upscale, but we were willing to pay a bit extra for good food. Unfortunately our hopes and our money was... More

Simply stated these folks make the best drinks in town. Sit at the bar and watch them work. You will be impressed. Ask for the black eyed pea and pecan bar snack. You will love it.

We love the hotel and the bar! Staff is friendly and a cool refreshing strawberry daiquiri is just the thing to battle the Arkansas heat and humidity!

Lunch with my cousin on a Friday. I ordered the fish tacos, which were good but why can't the fish be grilled rather than fried? It was 1:15, and they were not busy. My cousin ordered the egg salad with gluten free bread - she was so happy to be able to have the gluten-free bread. Execution continues to be... More

This bar is located in the Capital Hotel in the River Market area of Little Rock. They have good drinks, as well as food. There is a long bar that is surrounded by tables so you can either hang at the bar or sit down for drinks. Either way, there is a good selection of wine, beer, and mixed drinks,... More

Nice atmosphere adjacent to hotel lobby but our vote was pricey for what you get. Apparently a place for local politicians and businessmen. There may be some better bets, perhaps not as upscale. Parking on streets of Little Rock is reasonable and easy--ticket on dash.

Came to little rock for Paul McCartney concert and had sound check tickets so had to be there early afternoon. We filled our time and appetite at the Capital Bar and Grill! What a treat in every way. Pimento cheese app is to die for and burger was amazing. We live in Dallas so we know good food and this... More

I visited the Capital Bar and Grill several months ago and had a better experience. This trip will definitely be my last. We were greeted at the door by four people who were chatting with one another as the bar was almost empty at that early hour. We were seated immediately as the second arrival in a party of six....
