This is one of two restaurants (and the more informal) at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock. I sat at the bar and they make excellent martinis. You can be served at the bar with their full menu and the choices run from steak to everything in between. I had their soup of the day - potato and their roast... More

Regardless of whether you want a ribeye, fish & chips, chicken friend steak or a cuban sandwich, you can count on the Capital Bar and Grill to do it right. With a great atmosphere and fast service, the Capital Bar and Grill offers great sandwiches and entrees for all occasions.

The pimento cheese was very good and I generally do not like pimento cheese. Food and desert were very good but service could be better.

While staying at the Capital Hotel, we dined at this restaurant. Big mistake. Read hotel review - my wife was exhausted and just wanted to stay close. We were in the mood for something comforting and the hamburgers we saw being delivered to others looked delicious. Looks can be deceiving. They asked how we wanted them cooked, medium rare to... The downstairs bar is CLASSIC. I took my drink upstairs to the open air veranda, read the paper with a cooling fan blowing on me, and fell in love with Little Rock

The atmosphere here was better than the food. The Chicken Fried Steak was lightly fried, tender, and came topped with delicious gravy. The Cuban sandwich was dry and disappointing; I had to ask for dijon mustard to finish it. Their homemade chips were very good and superior to fries. Service was OK. As a "bar and grille", the CBG menu... More

Always a treat, you will always see someone you know. Tends to fill up but they will let you take food and drinks into the Capital lobby. Love the ambiance!!

We arrived late and chose this for a late meal. Usually hotel restaurants are marginal. This is definitely an exception. The service was attentive especially as I drink a lot of ice tea and my glass was always filled. Their Cuban sandwich and fries were as good as we eat in Puerto Rico.

Love this place. Pleasing dark wood pub atmosphere, comfortable seats, cozy nooks and crannies, and the food is great and quite affordable. This popular watering hole in the National Register of Historic Places Capital Hotel and an easy walk in downtown Little Rock is the place to go for a great burger or more sophisticated fare. Everything is freshly prepared... More
