Friendly wait staff, good bar food, reasonable prices. A pleasant place to have cocktails with friends.

The downstairs bar is CLASSIC. I took my drink upstairs to the open air veranda, read the paper with a cooling fan blowing on me, and fell in love with Little Rock

The atmosphere here was better than the food. The Chicken Fried Steak was lightly fried, tender, and came topped with delicious gravy. The Cuban sandwich was dry and disappointing; I had to ask for dijon mustard to finish it. Their homemade chips were very good and superior to fries. Service was OK. As a "bar and grille", the CBG menu... More

Always a treat, you will always see someone you know. Tends to fill up but they will let you take food and drinks into the Capital lobby. Love the ambiance!!

We arrived late and chose this for a late meal. Usually hotel restaurants are marginal. This is definitely an exception. The service was attentive especially as I drink a lot of ice tea and my glass was always filled. Their Cuban sandwich and fries were as good as we eat in Puerto Rico.

Love this place. Pleasing dark wood pub atmosphere, comfortable seats, cozy nooks and crannies, and the food is great and quite affordable. This popular watering hole in the National Register of Historic Places Capital Hotel and an easy walk in downtown Little Rock is the place to go for a great burger or more sophisticated fare. Everything is freshly prepared... More

I like stopping by the Capital Bar & Grill for a quick bite. Service is usually good, but depends on the time of day you stop in. Food is good, but hard to find much if you don't eat red meat (which I don't.) Nice music in the evenings.

I visited Capital Bar a couple of months ago for an early dinner after a day-long training session. The session was casual for comfort, and I didn't change before I walked in. I suppose that's why the server was haughty and barely acknowledged me. He certainly didn't make me feel welcome. He was probably in his late 20s -- perhaps... More

This restaurant is inside the capital hotel in downtown. I had lunch here with friends. The service was very good, my sandwich was also good. None of my friends had any complaints either. If you are staying at the hotel, it's a suitable option.

My buddy and I went for a bite Sunday evening and stumbled upon the Bar at the Capital Hotel. The food was very good as was the service. In the corner there was a Jazz Trio playing at just the right tempo and volume. The decore is classic turn of the century hotel bar. The combination made for a very... More
