Don Miguel is a very friendly place with great tasting Mexican cursing, large drinks, and one of the very few restaurants open in Cedar City on a Sunday. Service is incredibly slow, however, the good is quite good.

The restaurant is located in a house right on the main road. The food was surprisingly good and seemed to be very authentic. The menu was quite extensive and the prices are very reasonable.

We've visited twice now over two years when visiting town for the Shakespeare festival. Last year our food was great but we weren't impressed with the service. We ran into a similar situation this year. Cedar City restaurants are often swamped with festival visitors so we understand that service may be slower but this visit it was pretty bad. If... More

Although lacking the typical Mexican background music, the decor and cleanliness seemed the norm for a Mexican restaurant. The TV playing baseball however, was unusual and unwelcome. The margarita and warm chips were plentiful and delicious. The 2 salsas were fresh, tasty, and spicy enough. I ordered the pork fajitas but was disappointed with the meat's toughness. My daughter ordered... More

I've been to La Casa Don Miguel three times now and had excellent food each time. This time I enjoyed the shrimp fajitas which were served sizzling hot with corn tortillas and generous portions of rice, beans, pico de gallo, and vinegary coleslaw. They were very busy (Shakespearean festival) the night we were there and my father's burrito arrived luke... More

Lunch menu is a real deal with large plates about $8. We especially enjoyed the taste of the Mexican non-alcoholic Sangria Senorial. The bean dip and guacamole were very good.

Went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the authentic food. The service was very good, and the ambiance was typical. I judge Mexican by their Green Chile burritos and enchiladas. This place gets 4 out of 5 stars for me!

Very nice Mexican Restaurant. It is one of those restaurants that occupies an old house, with tables set up in various rooms. I have always liked the atmosphere in these "house" restaurants - there are very few around anymore. The food is excellent, it is tradiional Mexican fare - tacos, enchaladas, and tamales. I prefer the traditional Mexican dishes over... More

Don Miguel is the real deal, right down to the Oaxacan mole sauce. Great margarita, delicious and generous food and quiet outdoor patio with lots of shade...how can you beat that? Service was good and it's close to "downtown." Ok, that's a little review humor. Really, downtown Cedar City? If you are here and in the mood, stop at Don... More
