The food almost doesn't have to be great to enjoy being in this gorgeous place. It's a feast for the eyes. The food, fortunately, is quite good as well. The tortilla soup dumplings and French onion soup dumplings were stellar. The miso eggplant and rigatoni...More

Vandal is cool. I’m not quite cool enough. You walk into the entrance and it’s an event. The door is kind of hidden but that’s part of the vibe. Restaurant decor is very hip. Happy hour is great. Half price cocktails - we like that....More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many

I don't think they would turn away children but the atmosphere is definitely Adult. There were no children in the restaurant the evening I was dining.
